I am incredibly late in posting this review as to be fair to them, my house was valued around 12 months ago by one of their agents. We were looking at borrow some money against the house to do some renovations and we needed some independent valuations, they were picked as one of them. The chap that came out wasn’t particularly outgoing or friendly and if I’m completely honest was pretty miserable. He was in our house, probably all of eight minutes. This was to do a full valuation. All he seem to do was go in the garden and take some measurements. This became even more abundantly clear when the valuation came back, It was nearly £200,000 less than the other 5(!!!!) that we had done. All other quotes came in around £560,000 to £585,000. This chap gave us £375,000. It baffles me that if you are that incompetent at your job how you are doing it? Something is so important when it could mean the difference between somebody getting a mortgage or a homeowner loan that they that they need. I tend to think he just sat the laptop and looked of the areas near us rather than more of the house and the street itself. We do have lower priced housing areas around us but we are in a separate lane of its own that has a different style of housing with the highest circa £1.2m. If they actually looked at that properly they would realise how incorrect that valuation was. Thank goodness, five professional companies gave us the correct price in comparison to the farcical experience we had here. From our experience, there is not a world that we would recommend this company to take on evaluation. Unfortunately that is the truth in our opinion and it’s not born from frustration at their valuation as the other 5 had it where it should be so it didn’t end up effecting us but I feel poor, inaccurate results, like the one we were given could have huge impacts on some people.

Recently emailed this agent about a property and never heard back , had to call them and was told that the vendor did not know what they were doing with the property although it was advertised as auction . They said once they found out from the vendor they would call me , guess what! they never did and I spotted the same property for sale however not auction this time but increased in price to £595000 from £525000 offer over etc ... As I heard nothing again I told them I would go direct finding the owners details of the property on the planning application on line .... again heard nothing back and property has been withdrawn from the market so begs to differ what they are up to .... emailed numerous times no reply , had to phone and was told they would keep me informed but did not .... would stay well away and use a proper estate agent that actually gets in contact with customers . If they were marketing my property I certainly would not be using them again .... Property in Question was Spond House in Spond , Kington , Herefordshire .... & if you are the owner of this property I would use a different estate agent
