GoogleWe spent 12 months trying to sell our house with a well-known local estate agent and unfortunately saw very little progress.
We decided to switch to Paul Carr Estate Agents and spoke with Laurence at the Kingstanding branch. During our first conversation he explained the strategy they would use and confidently said they would aim to generate around 20, 25 viewings, attract several offers, and hopefully sell the property within six weeks.
Naturally, after our previous experience, we were a little sceptical. However, that is exactly what happened.
The difference in approach, communication and professionalism compared with our previous agent was remarkable. The whole process felt organised, proactive and well managed from start to finish.
It is easy to see why Paul Carr sell so many properties. In hindsight, we only wish we had chosen them from the beginning.
The team at the Kingstanding branch were excellent throughout, and we are extremely grateful for their support and hard work in helping us successfully sell our home.

Paul Carr Kingstanding thought it was okay to have us in a bidding war for highest offer, meanwhile the sellers didn’t think to tell us that they have a missing head lease document which prevents them from merging both the freehold and lease. Not all FTB are gullible. We pulled out of the house and moved into our new home before Christmas.

Whilst I appreciate buying in this busy market is stressful, it is normal for there to be more than one offer on a property so a best and final offer process is followed so it is fair for all parties involved. In regards to the missing legal documents, it would only have come to light during the legal process that something was missing and sadly a delay was then inevitable for the solicitors to find a solution to the problem.

GoogleI was pre warned about using this branch but found the sales manager very convincing. I don’t wish to go into too much detail but the level of stress this estate agent created through incompetence is unforgivable. There seems to be absolutely no communication between staff and client and I urge anyone wanting to sell their home use a different company or if you do wish to use Paul Carr then deal with the Queslett branch if you can.

I am sorry to read you were not happy with our services, although I am a little surprised to note the review was left 2 months after we successfully helped with your move and with no notification during the process of your disappointment. I have reviewed the file and can see over 140 notes that my colleague made during the sale process chasing all parties involved and we were also able to, following a rare problem with the buyers surveyor down valuing your home, negotiate with the buyer to pay more than their bank had down valued the property to which meant you were able to continue with your purchase. I also agreed to reduce our fees to pay for an indemnity policy that was required on your sale to prevent the sale from falling through at the last minute. In view of the facts I must say I think we offered a fantastic service and I am sorry that you felt it was below your own expectations. Regards, Laurence
