Communication was excellent, they were always helpful with arranging visits, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They were supportive, proactive and genuinely great to deal with. Buying a house can be stressful, but the team made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Just occasionally, you meet and deal with people who are great at their job. That was the case with Sarah, Nicky and team at Merchand Petit in Kingsbridge. Experienced, professional, knowledgeable, patient, friendly and courteous are all words that come to mind. I bought a cottage near Kingsbridge this summer for which the Kingsbridge office were agents. Sarah Douglas was dealing with my purchase and was enormously helpful and involved from initial viewings of a number of properties through to completion. She was charming, courteous and highly professional. She provided sound and clear information and advice. She answered all telephone calls, emails and texts swiftly and was prompt in passing on queries to the vendors and following these up. In particular Tom Fallaize dealt with my initial enquiry, the subsequent viewing and then the negotiations following my offer. I purchased a house locally via MP and was disappointed with the service offered. Essentially this was because of the following : - viewings were only offered when we had sold - viewings themselves were little more than opening the door, generally no walk around/advice on the property was offered - we were advised a Devon covenant on one property could be easily removed which when querying with our solicitor were told it most certainly could not - once we had our offer accepted, the communication from MP was almost none existent as they assumed we were going directly to the house seller - I requested a regular update from MP regards the sales progress, sadly this was not forthcoming - when we did actually exchange contracts, MP rang us to advise of such the week after Sorry MP, you didn't inspire me.
