Current tenant of Marsh and Parsons. Dealings with the Brooke Green Agents. I have spent years being a Lettings & Property Manager myself and I have never witnessed such awful customer service...From the offbeat - pushy. Put us into a 3-year contract. Made us pay the deposit and rent before we passed our references. Our move-in date got pushed back and I had to fight to change the start date of the contract we had already signed to the new move-in date. And then once we had already moved into the property, we were told we hadn't passed a 'secondary reference' required by the building management so we actually shouldn't have been given keys. Moved in and there was a broken window which they didn't fix for well over a week. Numerous maintenance issues which still have had no reasonable resolve over a year later. They have now put the flat on the market for sale without informing us (I had to see it on Rightmove) - and their Sales department clearly didn't inform the Lettings/Property Management department or tell the landlord that he would need to be looking for buy-to-let buyer as it is currently being sold as empty... huh. Just complete lack of communication or care. I feel sorry for this landlord, no wonder they want to sell this flat.

This organisation should not be in business. My daughter left a tenancy and they are still trying to get us to pay rent after the event. Trying to get it sorted is a nightmare as they have no central customer service team or escalation process. I know it's hard to find a property but using this bunch of cowboys will only cause stress in the long run. They are still after many months trying to get money from me and completely unable to get a person from their management to talk to

The majority of reviews are bad here and I understand why. I have rented a property for nearly 2 years from them. The service is atrocious. Very unhelpful and unsupportive. They conned me into a 2 year lease and then when I explained I had been in hospital and wanted to end my tenancy early they couldn't have cared less. Now I have rats in my property and surprise surprise they're not interested. All they care about is making money and they have shown no humanity. It's a disgrace and the company should be ashamed of itself. I will never rent from them again.

Absolute joke of a company. Never use. Will loose your documents, up rent by over 25% on year (no where near inflation levels) and generally never take accountability for anything. Stay clear.

Stress and unwanted worry, AVOID.Worse agency I've every rented with. If you've got anything important to sort with them my advice would be give them 3 months to deal with it, and expect false accusations and unwanted stress. Every agent we've had who have 'managed' our property have been appalling, they drop out halfway through dealing with your request and then you're back to square one. Had 2 tenancy swaps and both have taken 3+ months to complete.It's easy to say avoid, but if there's a chance you can I would suggest it. I hope I never have to deal with Marsh and Parsons again.

TrustpilotForcing to sign a 3 year lease with no break clause
Me and my partner were looking for a flat, and found some really great ones with Marsh and Parsons. However, we were consistently told that the landlords wanted a 3 year lease, and completely disregarded a break clause to be put in the contract. Having read other reviews of horror stories of this exact situation of tenants being unable to get out of their lease due to this, we decided to avoid them. Thought I'd post a review saying to be wary of the 3 year tenancy! A break clause should be absolutely required and is not a luxury to ask for.

We've just completed on the sale of our flat in Streatham with Marsh & Parsons as the agents. Other agents completely inflated/exaggerated what they thought we could achieve. It was instantly clear that Charlie had excellent knowledge of the area and current market and he was honest in managing our expectations. In the end, our sale price was bang on what he originally thought we would achieve. It was great working with him, and Negin as the sale negotiator. We had lots of issues with solicitors and the searches, and Negin worked tirelessly, following up with them and ensuring that we reached completion. We would have had serious delays if it wasn't for her diligence, and we are extremely grateful.

She really went above and beyond anything we expected including staying in touch when she was on holiday. Also had some communication with the brixton manager who was also lovely.
