So I sat at a table outside. I eventually went to find a waiter and was told I should have waited at the door to be seated. I ordered plenty of food and drinks (£50s worth). Food was average, drinks not nice at all. I asked to remove the "optional" service charge from the bill. The waiter told me that if I didn't want to pay the service charge I should have ordered to go. He said that he and the other staff clean the tables and are struggling financially due to the cost of living. I insisted he remove the "optional" charge which he did but then he asked if I wanted to tip him. I want my money back.

The little guy at the door was outright racist. He was rude and slammed the front door. There were plenty of tables but he insisted I wait while the two ladies ahead of me were greeting with cheer and welcomed without any waiting. Don’t see why there should be any disparity and why we should be treated any differently from others. If this is the service quality not sure of the rest. Truly disappointed to face this treatment.

Really disappointing. Two of us sat at a table not big enough for one. They don't do half the menu any more but have not updated it. Asked for a substitution, it was agreed and then I was charged two additional charges. Daughter had the BLT. Disintegrated so impossible to eat and tasted awful. Most was left. Breakfast bowl and even crushed avocado really salty. Service poor. Very expensive for what it is. One of the most delightful restaurants in Kensington with great service! The friendly wait staff are approachable and very helpful with both ordering and food delivery, especially Patricia. She made me and everyone else in the restaurant feel welcome. The food and coffee was excellent! Their pancake dish was delicious and their coffee tasted fresh, lovely on a cold winter morning. The atmosphere is great and is in keeping with the local neighbourhood - the ornate architecture makes it feel as though someone has welcomed you into their beautiful home! Overall a lovely place to relax with very good food and service. The café is nicely placed in the heart of South Kensington in the reach both the V&A and Natural History Museums. The outside sitting area is great on a nice weather days. Coffee was nice and the peanut butter gf&vegan brownie was good too. Staff is friendly just a bit slow but given the busyness of the area is understandable. Price reasonable, however, offering at least one alternative milk free of charge would be beneficial as other businesses have at least one if not all available free of charge. Such a lush afternoon lunch here with a colleague - all the staff were really friendly and food was amazing. We had soup and avo toast which was a slay. Service was very slow, took us 30 minutes to order out drinks and food. Then our food came out before our drinks. Food was alright but was half way done. Ordered a Spanish Latte and Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate. The latte was nice but the hot chocolate was extremely clumpy and bitty (the peanut butter powder did not dissolve in so it wasn’t pleasant). For food, we had Huevos Rancheros and Scrambled Eggs on toast both of which were nice in taste. However, the portion sizes for drinks and food was not sufficient for the price. Food was served in small cereal-sized bowls which made using a knife and fork tricky - a plate would have been better! We attended a similar location in the same area another day which had more reasonable portions for the same price and same quality. Staff were attentive but drinks and food arrived at the same time (20 minutes after being sat) and bowls/glasses etc were taken just as we placed our cutlery down and before the other person had finished.

The servers ( we had the young one, Felix) were especially nice , making conversation and bringing our coffees very quickly ( and nice and hot which is rare in Kensington). The coffees were absolutely delicious and even got a sweet smily face. Service was non existent, we had to ask for everything ourselves. They got a part of my order wrong, when I asked about it the server just rolled his eyes and took the plate away without saying anything. What worried me was we saw a glass break on top of already made drinks and the server and barista were discussing whether or not to bring said drinks to the table. The restaurant itself, especially the bathroom, are very dirty. Food was ok at best, with small partitions and dry over cooked chicken. Popped in for a takeaway coffee and cake with my sister around 15 minutes before closing time. The staff were delightful, really friendly and helpful, and seemed to genuinely care about their products. The drinks were made to a perfect temperature and we really enjoyed them. I went at 3:30 on a Friday and was sat right away. I got the scrambled eggs and added a side of avocado because it was basically the same thing as avocado toast PLUS three eggs for only a dollar more. Space was cute and clean, there’s extra seating in the back, plus the staff was friendly. Didn’t try any of the baked goods or coffee, it costs extra for ice and non-dairy milk so I’d rather go across the way to Blank Street. But my food was great!

Maybe around 20-25 minutes before I got the right one. Staff didn’t give me updates, didn’t ask if I wanted water, generally bad service. This is a really cute little spot close to South Ken station. I would reccomend this for brunch. There is seating available both inside and outside. Staff were super friendly and the ordering system is very efficient. I ordered a rose iced latte after it was reccomended by the staff. I found very refreshing. For breakfast I ordered the Seoul eggs. This was so delicious. It'd eggs served with Kimchi, pieces of tenderstem Broccoli, chilli oil and feta. It was like an explosion of flavours. I drank macchiato and americano there. The macchiato was grossly disgusting, listen, it's not funny in my life, I've never had such a bad coffee in my life, it's really not funny, it tasted sour and disgusting! There is no coffee in the country! The Americano had a less strong taste, probably because it was mixed with milk and sugar and water and all that, but you could still taste its repulsive taste. There was a selection of types of milk other than soy which is a shame. A cute and nicely decorated central place, it's just a shame that their coffee doesn't match the view. The service was great, they were cute. I would never go back there in my life and therefore I will not recommend anyone to go there. 3pm Sunday lunchtime. Sluggish, uninterested servers, seated ourselves as nobody on the door. Table was unprepared and covered in oil which my wife discovered when she put her elbows in it. No cutlery until I begged for some. First server I asked didn’t bring any (probably got sidetracked with finishing her shift) and my food was on the table. Asked a second, eventually it came. Food was on the table for 5 minutes. I’m still waiting for the bill, as I type this, we finished eating 15 minutes ago. Food was ok, smaller than I’d hoped for a £15 salad. Asked for a side of sourdough toast. One slice of cold pre prepared toast delivered promptly with no butter. Avo toast was over salted. Farmgirl salad was average, tasty yellow hummus though. I’m trying to find positives here but struggling!! Fed constructive feedback to crew member, apparently most staff are new including the manager. I’d say be prepared to wait and question your service charge. It shouldn’t be mandatory if the service is bad. One of our 4 servers was very apologetic when feedback was given. Nothing wrong with the waitresses, they were lovely. The food however, was ridiculously overpriced, £8 for a fruit bowl which included a spoon full of yoghurt, half a strawberry and a few blueberries. Not only this but our avocado on toast included avocado skin and was more mint than avocado which we paid £11 for. Food was OK, but not enjoyable…the matcha was excellent! Maybe the other menu items are better but what I had was quite underwhelming. I had the fish tacos and for £12 the portion size (2 small tacos) is quite a stretch. I was served the ends of the loaf for the almond butter banana toast, and it was really hard to chew through but the flavour was great! I would stick to what seem like their “classic” items.
