Delighted with Dexters…

I have always enjoyed an excellent service over the 2 properties that Dexters manage for me. We have had excellent tenants and there is prompt communication when problems arise. Christian Pengelly in particular has been most helpful in sorting out some pod the more difficult problems. He has a considerable knowledge of tenancy arrangements especially of a more challenging nature.

Julian Daley is great.Julian is our property manager, he help us arranged to fix stuff on time.Eg, there was sth wrong with the fridge.m, he arranged the vendor to come and investigate and fix it, within a short period of time.When I there were issues, he could guide us promptly or redirect us to the relevant parties.Overall, he is very helpful and provided prompt feedback. A horrible experience

A horrible experience. Dexters arranged a viewing for us at the property when the previous tenant’s furniture was still in the flat. There was serious damp damage on the wall linings behind that furniture. They did not disclose this even though they were aware of a serious leak in the building and then failed to acknowledge their gross marketing practice. We made an offer. On the first day of our tenancy we discovered the damp on the walls, faulty electrics, faulty heating units and mold on the window blinds. Beware of trusting them

It started when a friend's flat was passed to Dexters. I was dealing with this matter and met Christian Pengally the Lettings manager. He was cheerful and helpful throughout and even managed to get the owners deposit back despite the difficulties due to the tenant passed away. Will not hesitate to recommend him and Dexters.

Great customer service!

I moved into my new property on the 20th December 2022, just before Christmas which is a hectic time for everybody! However, with the assistance of Dexters (especially Bill) they have made my move very smooth and hassle free. Bill has been nothing but helpful, proactive and attentive. He has gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions and always gets back to me when he says he will (a lot of people don’t!). Bill has (and will continue to I’m sure) provided me with excellent customer service.

As first-time buyers previously missing out on properties to cash buyers, we had gone through the motions of dozens of viewings and offers. Very sloppy service from Dexters

Very sloppy service from Dexters. Missing attachments to emails, forgetting to send information, incorrect information was sent.At check-in, they didn't even give us the right keys.... Sloppiness was a constant through the process....The house was very very dirty, despite it should have been professionally cleaned by contract. There was mold, dust, dead insects.... Lots of furniture was broken or not fixed. We are not sure if the landlords were informed at all at this point.Another red flag is that the agents try to lock tenants in very long contracts, a new trend with many companies. They didn't pressure as much as others, but still, they create this constant sense of urgency for the tenants.... then they disappear for days and need constant follow-ups.Do not recommend.
