Isaiah Samuels- Despite joining well into our tenancy, Isaiah was extremely proactive in trying to resolve our issues and give his best efforts in all our interactions. We had several issues with the landlord and previous property managers who were unable to get approval to carry out repair works. Isaiah swiftly carried this out shortly after joining and made the rest of our tenancy smooth! As tenants, this is what we look for in agencies rather than those who only protect landlord interests. I have been impressed with the service of Stephen and his team right from our first interaction in approx 2009 when I was looking for a new property manager. I didn't chose Chestertons then due to their management fees being higher than the company I chose at the time.Stephen stayed in touch every year religously to see if I needed to review my property management. Eventually in approx 2019 that time came, and I went changed over to Chestertons. Their knowledge, efficiency, communication, and professionalism far surpasses any other company I've worked with in my 20+ years of property investment.The team are highly responsive in dealing with any issues, keep me informed, and I can honestly say, do a terrific job of managing my property.Even if the fees are a little bit higher, it's worth every penny. Dealing with estate agents is never ideal but actually Shannon took us on a magic mystery tour of nice flats, was lovely and engaging all along and found us the place we have now moved into. I had a very disappointing experience with Chestertons Notting Hill, particularly with their Head of Sales, Charlie Cunningham Reid. I had simply requested a basic market appraisal for my flat a common and reasonable request but it quickly turned into a pressured pitch to sell. Charlie used a number of manipulative tactics during our meeting: from scare stories about noise levels, to the impending nuisance caused by new occupiers Maison Estelle, and even went so far as to suggest that Chestertons’ “free” appraisal is really only offered on the condition that the property is listed for sale. He also made unsolicited remarks such as “if you were to sell, the sale wouldn’t be immediate and therefore it would be prudent to act now before the market dips.” This felt more like a sales ambush than a professional consultation. To make matters worse, Charlie took photos of the custom joinery in my flat. Although he technically asked for permission, his phone was already out and aimed making it difficult to feel like I had any real option to say no. The entire approach felt pushy, unprofessional, and disingenuous. In stark contrast, I’ve worked with the Chestertons St John’s Wood office for years, and they’ve always been respectful, transparent, and professional. The Notting Hill sales office unfortunately reflects none of those values, and I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

Louis Nafzger from the 44-48 Old Brompton Road branch was outstanding in helping me complete on a house I have just bought today! Louis was very attentive, neccessarily so since we had an ambitious completion date of around one month after our offer was accepted after a wee bidding war! This date was achieved largely because Louis was brilliant at communicating progress between the sellers and us on pretty much a daily basis. Thankyou Louis! You made a potentially difficult and stressful process so much smoother and easier! Chestertons are lucky to have you as a member of their staff! It also says alot for this branch and the real effectiveness and excellence of his managers in their ability to support Louis so he could excell in his role!

I rented a flat with this agency in 2021 and today was the day for one of the agents to make one of the annual visits. Anson Nyako was amazing! Professional but frendly and willing to answer my questions without hesitation and with a lot of patience and happy to help.
