GoogleTerrible agents and with zero integrity who are happy to mess people around and tell lies. We were assured exclusivity if we made an offer on a property, and our offer was accepted on this basis. Two days later they claimed they had received a higher offer, despite the exclusivity agreement. The property continued to be marketed by Chestertons, and was not marked as sold STC on their website or portals. We were then told in no uncertain terms that the buyer would take our offer if we matched the new offer, as we had been first to the table and they wanted to give us a chance. So we agreed to match the offer, but the next day were told that the other party had 'unprompted' increased their offer overnight. As if someone would simply offer more money overnight within 24 hours of their first offer without needing to and without being prompted. We were clearly lied to multiple times by the agent, and led on to keep making offers simply for them to be used for leverage elsewhere despite promises of exclusivity and guarantees the buyer would take our offer. Rowland King, Head of Sales for the area, didn't even have enough respect to pick up the phone to tell me and sent an email instead, despite promising to call. Cultures start at the top, so if this is the behaviour of the Head of Sales, it's safe to assume nobody at Chestertons can be trusted. I won't be viewing any properties through Chestertons moving forward, and they will miss out on the opportunity to rent out another property I own, and the opportunity to list another property I own for sale next year.

GoogleI found my dream flat to rent in Chelsea with Naomi Shiels at Chesterstons. She is a superstar, someone who really tries to understand the needs of others to come up with compatible solutions. She's genuine, personable and in my view one of the best letting agents I have ever come across. Even after I had signed my contract Naomi helped me with a few teething issues which I've been very grateful for. A great experience especially when compared to that with other letting agents.

Awful company - took my deposit to reserve a flat and wouldn’t return it. Don’t trust them at all. In the process of claiming through courts.

Letting managers lied to both my tenant and me about details of the contract and dates. When I complained they said that it was ok as they had not wasted my money, only my time. I've tried to contact their head office 5 times to speak about this but nobody replied to calls, emails or the online chat.
