We first met with Julia a couple of months ago who showed us around the different homes they have available at Festival Park Norwich. We fell in love with the Chopwell. We have now sold and went back for another viewing before reserving our Plot. Kim has now taken over at the Charles Church office, which is great as we got on so well, when we met Kim down the road in the Persimmons office. Kim has been brilliant helping us to reserve our plot and go through all of the designs for the house. We are so excited for the next few months before we move in early next year.

We moved into our new Charles Church property in the Hamlet just before Christmas 2025.We are so pleased with our decision to purchase the Marylebone as it has so much space and the kitchen dining area really makes it feel special. I cannot praise Jack Grovier enough. He has been brilliant, goes above and beyond on everything. As with most new builds we had a few minor snags. However, Jack has been superb in organising the relevant trades to come out and put the minor things right as soon as possible. He has kept me up to date on progress and happy to make the right call even if that means extra work. The team on site are brilliant as well, including the ground workers, carpenters, sealant chaps, plumbers. They do a very good job.

House is amazing but they took bi fold doors away and said flooring was not included even though all the web searches stated included. Poor customer service and response on this with no response from head office after a compliant. Reduced house price means they cut items out to save costs an passed them onto us.

The aftercare on the estate is horrendous. Charles church have moved onto the next phase of the estate left our estate looking a mess. Weeds growing through the curbs, landscaping covered in weed. Grass is being cut once a month if we’re lucky.

Good and helpful post moving customer service but let down by third party suppliers. Site Manager helpful and proactive. Standard of workmanship average to good but more or less as expected. No flexibility re build or layout.

We are really disappointed with the treatment since moving in. We got rushed in to an incomplete home, promised that things will be sorted and resolved after we have moved in. We are still experiencing problems and a list of problems which we have been left with. Customer care and after care has been shocking. The quality of the build isn’t bad but be careful when looking around a home before buying as the after care is shocking! I would not recommend to anyone potentially wanting to buy. The list of problems has been mind blowing and the care we have received has been rude and not helpful. Also they come to fix a problem and leave it worse than before! Awful, absolutely shocking..

The experience start to finish has been made really strait forward and easy to deal with. At the start we had a good tour and learnt a lot of great tips about our new property. Once we exchanged we had an amazing walk through. At this point we met Tom, really nice man polite and understanding. He answered any questions we had and gave us time to find a couple snags. even stayed late for us. Two days later we got the keys where we met a sales gentleman (I’ve forgotten his name sorry but he was great) and Erin. They walk us through again and Erin showed that almost all the snags from 2 days ago had been sorted ( not that they were anything bad just little bits). 3 days after we moved in Tom came back for a visit to see how we where settling in and if he could help in anyway. This was really helpful as first time buyers it had been overwhelming. Tom gave us Erin’s number and said any issues please don’t hesitate to contact him. Erin from that point right up to now has been great. Any issue no matter how small he has sorted as quick as possible and with great communication. All in everyone we have spoken to or dealt with has been polite and understanding.
