Where do I start, if you think all estate agents are the same think again, this has been my first dealings with Armitstead Barnett (Cumbria), and they put the run of the mill high street estate agents to shame, their level of professionalism, expertise and commitment to providing you with the best possible service is outstanding. I dealt with the Cumbria office, my main contacts were Emma and Cody for both the purchase and sale of the properties, and these were not straight forward transactions, they turned out to be very complicated and took a long time to complete, due to numerous factors, however they got us there in the end, and to be frank without them it would not have happened, they both went by far over and above what was required. The reality was they were constantly firefighting, they kept in close contact with all the solicitors, vendors and buyers, dealing quickly with any queries raised, keeping everyone calm and informed to ensure everything kept moving as smoothly as possible, which at times was a real challenge and very stressful, but without hesitation they stepped in and quickly resolved any issues, even doing the work the solicitors should have done, right up to the day of completion, they kept on top of the chain and let me know what was happening at every step. So I can’t thank the Cumbria team enough, especially Cody and Emma because without their dedication and hard work I don’t know where we’d be today, probably still sat in our old house waiting for a sale, so if you are looking for an estate agent that actually cares, then don’t hesitate to use Armitstead Barnett, I can guarantee you won’t regret it, they are a breath of fresh air.

I have dealt with many estate agents over the years with some poor results. However Armitstead were a refreshing change. They answered my calls quickly and went the extra mile to resolve some tricky issues during the sale. I never had to chase them. I dealt mainly with Lily who was always positive and keen to progress the sale for me. Her whole attitude was brilliant. Cody was also excellent when ever I dealt with her. I would highly recommend them. I was that impressed with Lily that I brought her a bootle of Fizz as a thank you.
