GoogleI was promised that my house would sell and 6 months later I took my property off listing with this agency. I only had two viewings. Both for the life of me do not understand why they were shown the house as the first had 3 children and naturally the house would be too small and the second viewing said they needed a bigger bedroom yet had all the pictures and dimensions to go by before viewing.
The communication was very poor. I had to on more than one occasion ask how the house was doing and even suggested to reduce the price of the house.
At no point was I told by the agency or the viewers to make changes to the house for a faster sell. They all seemed to say the house was lovely.
What also frustrated me is I would get the repeated jargon of the market is slow at the moment , here is a monthly view of how many times your property was viewed. In my eyes no true effort was made to try and sell my house.
I could see house after house up for sell in Pembury and many signs saying sold. In my eyes because my property was not over the half a million bracket I do not feel it was pushed enough to be sold.
I was made many false promises that were not materialised and now 6 months later I am back where I started.
To me very disappointing.

GoogleSTAY AWAY all renters this company will charge you left right and centre. They will leave in sub standard living condition and support fraudulent landlords. They do not adhere to section 11 of th housing act and then charge for not maintaining the property.
Vendors: this company couldn't organise a party on Ibiza let alone sell a house. Service appalling on every count.
This agency is stuck in a time prior 2006 and the sooner people stop using them the better for the industry.

Barnes Kingsnorth Estate Agents confirm that they act in accordance with the rules and regulations stipulated, under current legislation for both sales and lettings. If a property is looked after on a fully managed service, we conduct regular property inspections. Therefore, If any issues are noted, provided of course, that access can be gained to the property for any necessary repairs, these are organised as quickly and efficiently as possible, with the Landlords approval.

They obviously have the best interests of their vendor at the foremost (as they should), but as the purchaser I was kept informed of the chain progression at all times. On the day of completion they worked hard to get the chain completed when it was slow at the bottom end and they did a lot of running around to help me get the keys just before my removal men were about to leave with my furniture on their van! A lovely team.
