From start to finish Nicky was exceptional, the service she provided was prompt and efficient and she communicated and kept us informed at every stage. We both regret not selling our property with them. The service felt personal and caring in what can be a stressful situation. Dealing with the same person/people throughout also really helped and you don’t get this service from larger estate agents. We would absolutely recommend Lawrenson and Ball if you are looking to sell your property. We had a very poor experience with a local large estate agents and contacting Nicky and Oliver was the best decision we made. They go above and beyond in everything they do. I think Lawrenson and Ball are maybe sufficient for straightforward sales but were quickly overwhelmed and unhelpful. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received throughout the sale of my property. One of my biggest concerns was that the buyer's position was not properly checked at the outset. It later became apparent that there was an additional property chain that had not been identified and could have been identified at the beginning, which caused significant delays to the sale. As a direct result of these delays, I incurred additional costs that could potentially have been avoided with more thorough due diligence. I also found the agency to be reactive rather than proactive. There appeared to be very little effort made to actively market my property or seek out additional potential buyers, even when the sale encountered difficulties. Communication was limited, and I often felt that I was the one chasing updates rather than being kept informed. Overall, I felt that the agency did the bare minimum required to progress the sale. I expected professional guidance, proactive management of the sales process, and proper vetting of buyers, but unfortunately my experience fell well short of those expectations. I cannot recommend this estate agent based on my experience.

Moving house is far from easy and often stressful and choosing the right estate agent is crucial. In our experience, many estate agents have initially offered a high level of service for a not inconsiderable fee, but then failed to deliver. This has certainly not been our experience with Lawrenson Ball. They have provided us with a personal level of service which has been second to none. They have been available to offer helpful advice and support at all times of the day and week, especially during the stressful times. Their experience has been invaluable during the negotiation of our house sale right through to exchange of contracts and final completion. We would not hesitate to recommend Lawrenson Ball and cannot praise them more highly.

My mother in laws property was the first instruction for Lawrenson Ball which was apt as Oliver actually looked out on to the property from his front window 🙂. We had viewers immediately and the property quickly sold, however unfortunately the purchasers chain collapsed. Oliver had further viewings within a couple of days and we sold the property again very quickly. Having a local estate agent with such first hand knowledge of the village definitely was a bonus. I've struggled to find the right words to express my gratitude and wonder at the service and support Oliver delivered during the sale of my late Mum’s home. Excellent in short but he was much more than that. Oliver gets that selling a house can be more emotional in some situations than others. He treated my sister and I sensitively and took the stress out of what was a difficult situation for us. The marketing of the property was amazing with excellent images, a walk through and a floor plan all included in the fee. This definitely led to the high interest we had in the property. Oliver is flexible, he handled a number of viewings on the property at weekends and evenings so no potential buyers were missed. I also felt reassured that at each viewing Oliver would be presenting the house and the area in the best way to potential buyers. Once we had an offer, Oliver worked hard to ensure the sale was completed. He gave us regular updates and kept all parties informed to keep things moving. We faced some delays and without Oliver’s advice and reassurance this would have blown my blood pressure. I’ve found myself telling people if they want to sell their house they have to use Lawrenson Ball - even if they aren’t thinking of selling for years! I can’t thank Oliver enough for everything he did, his support, advice, expertise, communication and finding us a buyer, who we hope, will be as happy as we were in our family home.

We sold our house with Lawrenson Ball recently and it has been the smoothest process possible. We chose them after viewing a house that they were selling and Oliver’s friendly manner and his knowledge of that property and his selling of the house was literally lightyears ahead of any other agent we’d viewed houses with, so it was an absolute no brainer that we would use him to sell ours. He got our house sold within a week and was able to give us really solid advice around that whole process. He’s really responsive and proactive with communication and nothing has been too much trouble and he’s been able to answer any questions we had about the whole process of selling a house They are a smaller business and because of that they know who you are and which one is your house when you get in touch, so you get a really personalised service.
