Absolutely terrible. Please do not use CHELSEA Reach Branch. Staff incompetent. Owner arrogant and rude. Totally unprofessional. I have taken them to the ombudsman and won compensation, that is how bad they have been. Collected keys and let themselves into my property, without my permission, when the contract between us had finished.

Googletelephoned just for some advice, spoke to 2 different staff members re buying a house then renting it back out again, they could not have been more helpful, they spent so much time going through areas, potential rent, service and fee, were very polite and professional, excellent service so far, I will be returning.

Disgraceful customer service. I offered the full asking price for a property to later be told the seller wanted cash buyers or first time buyers only. Not only this, but they didn’t have the decency to inform me the property had been sold just 2 days after my full offer.

Rochdale branch-Complete waste of time!! Ignored 4 emails! Cut me off when I rang up! Online chat with jade giving details and saying I wanted advice on loans, I wanted to view a house and sell mine completely ignored-never got back to me!!!I’m amazed they’re still trading their attitude is disgraceful

Absolutely atrocious customer service on multiple occasions, final straw was broken when the rudest teenage estate agent I have ever had to deal with declined my phone call and ignored my partner and I at the viewing. They shan't be getting a penny of my money. Ridiculously rude and uncooperative. Birmingham branch

Very friendly until they have your money.Once moved in they instantly changed to unhelpful greedy selfish people.Just want to rob you and make your life hell.Reported many problems but they were ignored.Would not touch these guys with a barge pole!Avoid at all costs!!!!

Martin & Co are setting new standards for letting agents in London. If you thought their greediness was impressive (with nearly 3 times the usual rate for reference checking) you'll be stunned at their complete lack of competence, their total lack of interest, and their abilities in lying directly to your face.

Leeds branch (letting) - terrible and untrustworthy, they spend your money without consent and have little regard for what they can do with client's funds in spite of it being illegal. Third party services provided for repairs are mostly poor quality and unchallengeable. I'm looking to exit as soon as possible.

Giles Mugford, Camberley Branch.Property: 2 Lower Canes, Yateley, GU46 6PYI put an offer of £290,000 on 26-May-2015. My offer was declined with the reason that my offer was lower than other offers. From land registry, I see that property was then sold for £271,000 on 18th Aug 2015. Wonder why?

YellHostility. Unhelpful and cold.
Hi, I am of Asian ethnicity and enquired about rental properties. I got a hostile non-helpful response [it was in the terribly cold voice], like can you get off the phone quickly, I made a few calls to this agency and was left to feel very unwanted indeed.

£25 for a 2 minute reference is a joke....All about the money, customer service/satisfaction comes second unfortunately.

All of our reference checks are done by a third party supplier, these are very thorough checks and the costs from the supplier are passed along to the customer. If you would like us to look into this complaint in more detail, please let us know the local office you have used.
