GoogleThis has been, without exaggeration, one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any business.
An agreement was made and a refund of £3,800 became due. For months I was repeatedly told that payment would be made, that “the office” was dealing with it, and that the money was on its way. I was patient, understanding, and gave every opportunity for this to be resolved properly.
I later discovered that the company had in fact been dissolved on 11 June 2019, yet I continued to be contacted as if the business was still operating and able to pay. I even took legal action and paid the court fee, only to be told that the company had no assets. To this day, the money has never been repaid.
The entire process was exhausting, misleading, and incredibly stressful. I wasted a huge amount of time chasing something that should never have been handled this way. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

GoogleMy boyfriend had a viewing arranged at 18.30 with somebody called Ross Alce to show us a property. 25 minutes later, nobody has showed up nor called us. We attempted calling the agency however after 18.30 it just goes straight into voicemail. What a waste of time. I did not think an agency would let a potential renter down so easily. Definitely not trustworthy.
Update: I understand the booking was made by my boyfriend as calling twice seems a bit ridiculous therefore he made it for the both of us. Your agency did not even bother to call us the following, having to chase you to give us an explanation and we were never notified in advance that the Landlord would be the one showing the place, otherwise we would not have tried to call the agency so many times hoping somebody will help (note we started calling before the announced closing time). Also yes, I cancelled the vieweing we had re-arranged however, I was sweet enough to give over 24 hours notice for this. So be honest. Accept when you make a mistake and use it to learn. You were the ones that clearly wasted our time.

In response to your review, first of the names Ross Ace not Alce. we also booked the viewing with your boyfriend not you, in which we clearly stated to him that the landlord/owner will be showing the dwelling.
due to the time the viewing was booked in for was out of office hours that's the reason you could not connect to the office.
unfortunately the Landlord/Owner had an emergency and couldn't attend but decided to let us know the following day.
(Things like this happen)
We did call you back and rescheduled the viewing in which you ended up canceling last minute, to be honest we have been in this industry for many years and we can tell from serious potential tenants to time wasters. Your review is of a few that has given us 1 stars which considering we have been established for over 18 years we know where we stand and what service we offer with the majority given us positive feedback.

GoogleExtraordinarily unprofessional service. They never informed us when viewings or works were taking place, expected a fellow flatmate to do viewings for them because they botched our tenancy. Tried to change out tenancy agreement mid tenancy by having our advance rent payment become a security deposit, no one ever got an inventory because they've been operating in an outdated way where the new tenant pays the previous tenants advance rental. Snake like behaviour, avoid, avoid, avoid. I have never in my 5 years of renting experienced such an awful unprofessional company. The fire alarms aren't even up to standard, something they failed to check until recently when we spoke to the council...

GoogleThe best landlords I have had in 20+ years of renting.
From the first meeting to the last Ross was professional, approachable and courteous. Everything they said they would do, they did on time. Repairs were dealt with and there was no "blaming it on the tenants" like some landlords. They fitted to our time-lines rather than expecting us to work on theirs. The full deposit was returned within a week of moving out. It is hard to think how they could have done a more professional job.

GoogleI rented with them for about half a year, a house that happened to have a massive mold problem.
We managed to get an arrangement with breach on contract, and they assured me that I would get financially compensated for the loss of many clothes, bags, shoes and my general wellbeing.
After asking for my bank details about 3 weeks ago, they started completely ghosting me.
I will either delete this terrible review if they get in touch with me quickly and efficiently, or post one star reviews everywhere else on the net and social media's until they reach out.
I'm really unhappy that you're turning me into a Karen, future homes.

We have not mananged your property during your tenancy and the delay in return of your deposit was solely due to the landlord or yourselves not informing about your notice and leaving the property. I have checked the records and the deposit was returned the next day of our correspondence.

GoogleThis crowd are doing a Refurb of a Neighbours flat and they have been awful. Left rubbish in the communal area for 2 weeks, no communication, our stairs have constantly been left with plaster, dirt mess. Extremely unprofessional and dirty service. Future Homes? Don't touch with a bargepole!!
