Can't recommend unfortunately

I had found a flat that I liked and arranged a viewing (on a weekend). I was told during the viewing that no offers had been made yet, so I instructed my solicitor to make a note of interest and prepare an offer. But when he got in touch with Savills on the first working day after the viewing, he was told that an offer had been made by someone else and accepted before I had even viewed the place. I think Savills can do better. Either the agent during my viewing had not received updated information about the property or I was deliberately misled, neither of which would be good practice. 2 stars rather than 1 because staff were at least very friendly.Edit: I have since been contacted by Savills who said they would investigate and contact me again. They have not contacted me again (though in truth, I don't mind; the property has been sold, no matter what their investigation finds).

We were very disappointed with Savills…

We were very disappointed with Savills over the sale of our house - despite missing the sales target we were under pressure to accept an early offer - then, 3 months later Savills seemed to be supporting the buyer in reducing the price, asking us to reduce by nearly 70K for cosmetic refurbishment and pressurising is to compromise. The problem is plain, every £50,000 loss for us is only £500 for them and if they can flip a sale and save on all the visits it makes sense - for them.

Worst nightmare auction system they have so here is what happened:I registered for an auction property a week ago and then I called them to confirm I can bid for the auction, they told me to check on website if I am approved of auction I have checked it was approved, I contacted them multiple times to make sure I am part of auction, they told yes you are and finally before auction start time which was mentioned on the website called them again to confirm they said I have to send an email to confirm and they will send me the bidding over the email I was confused how is IT possible to do that. I missed this property to bid I would say worst system they have if you call no one knows about their own system, really disappointed as compared to others

The Market - Brighton Top Notch Service!
