Hamptons told us a house we had viewed, and we offered more than asking price They told us Memorandum of sale would follow etc. 24 hours later they told us a higher offer had gone in . They then kept us waiting for days before basically gazumping us and they sold property much lower asking price to some their known person be careful before you give them the property to sale, don’t not trust this agent as far as I can see them, nor would I use them again EVER!

Hamptons was great to work with!Aggie from the Fulham office was very accommodating and friendly. After one phone call she made sure to immediately squeeze me in for a viewing the day after. She was very informative and did her best to accommodate all my needs for the property. Aggie was very fast to respond to all my messages and would promptly update and solve any problems I had with the property.

I have used Hamptons Lettings Bath for several years using their fully comprehensive cover to rent out my flat.Melanie Hudson has been excellent in sorting out any problems I have had as a landlord. She responds very quickly to both my tenants and myself, quickly getting quotes and organising any work that has to be done, she is professional, really knows her stuff and I just couldn’t be a successful landlord without her !

Not helpful at all!!! Worse service ever!!We are without hot and warm water as the boiler is old and need to be replaced, i have asked to come to fix the problem urgently as we can’t shower and they were very slow in replying, i have to call several times and they were not helpful at all.the person in charge of our appartment is on holiday and every timeI call themI speak with a different person , not even updated on the situation. They said to call directly the people who are going to do the job, i called themalthough Hamptons shoulddo it and they said the first appointment availableIs next monday, can you believe it? And to call backhamptonsto speed the process, i called back hamptons and they said to call the company….a nightmare!!!! Useless!!!!

Property rented through Hamptons for over 3 years this time around. Some years previously also successfully rented apartment.In all cases excellent rental prices achieved at the absolute top end of expectations and where tenants have moved on new tenants have been sourced and ready to move in with either no void periods or just a day or two on tenant changeover.Current property manager is Harleigh Doherty and she has simply been the best of the best. Nothing is too much trouble and everything has been extremely well managed both for me as the landlord and for my tenants. Even better Harleigh has a great personality so is exceptionally easy to work with always exhibits good humour and together we make light of resolving any issues that did arise.

The worse Letting agency that I have used in UK. When I make my offer and we have agreed for the price with confirmation email from them, they have informed after 5 days that they had better offer, they never remove from advertisement. According my tenancy they never fix the heating problem in the flat and they said me to buy a heater. Before the check out they advice me to use their own professional cleaning charging me £265 for one studio (after a research on online it's only £130). and at the end they try to charge me for FWT and when I informed them that I will send for dispute they increased the amount. Avoid to use this agent.

NOT RECOMMENDED. These people will charge you a fortune in management fees for absolutely nothing. I have had to do all the emailing and sorting out from overseas despite paying for a full management service. I have complained but been ignored. I have asked for my complaint to go into the formal complaints procedure but I am still ignored. Classic attitude of companies these days. They just ignore your complaint. No customer service at all.
