Constant spam via post.If you're a tenant in a property, looking around the market, Dexters will take the information they demand off you before they'll even discuss a property and then use this for their own marketing.Sending repeated and constant letters to the address, despite you still living there.The last one today is so ignorant."By now you will have received a number of letters from me, which I hope demonstrates my proactive approach".No, Bobby, it demonstrates that you don't get the message and your letters go straight in the bin. "I am surprised that a property like yours is still on the market [..]"Wrong again, Bobby, it is not on the market.Completely and utterly clueless and borders on harassment. Not a good advertisement for your business. Not just the letters, the assumptions made but also using data provided for another purpose to be used for this reason.This is in relation to your branch covering SE10.

Exceptional Support in a Time of Crisis

I don’t have enough words to say about Monika Piszczyk. Even though I am a stranger to her, she treated me as if I were family. When I experienced a scary visit from our rodent friends in the middle of the night, I understandably woke up in a panic. What followed was a series of events that, without Monika’s support, I wouldn’t have managed.Monika got on the phone with me to calm me down and liaised with the landlady to get my expenses approved, even though I didn’t follow the standard method by getting a contractor outside of the agency. She could have easily stuck to procedural components, but instead, she saw past that and empathized with me as a human being. Her kindness and efficiency resolved an incredibly stressful situation and for that I can’t thank her enough!

I am writing this review even though I never ended up renting with Dexter, and that's exactly the point. My experience trying to simply view two properties was so unprofessional and frustrating that it deserves a warning to others. I had two viewings scheduled for the same day because the properties were close together. On the morning of the viewings, I called to ask why I hadn't received a confirmation email for one. The person I spoke to insisted they had sent it, but it was nowhere to be found, not even in my spam folder. The real disaster happened when I arrived at the first property. I called Dexter again, and they then informed me that this property was already gone. But in the morning on my call, they had told me a different property was unavailable, not this one! The communication within this agency is shockingly bad. They completely wasted my time and gas driving out there. To top it all off, when I asked them to finally send me a confirmation for the one viewing that was supposedly still available, they couldn't even do that. I was left with no choice. An entire afternoon wasted due to their incompetence. Do not waste your time with Dexter. Their service is unorganized, unprofessional, and honestly, just terrible.

I had a great experience buying my first home in Islington with help from Oliver. After losing out in a very stressful bidding war through another agency, I was very happy to find this property through Dexter’s. Oliver showed me the property very shortly after it had been listed and I was able to submit an offer which was accepted with no faff. The entire process from viewing the property to completion went remarkably smoothly and I am thrilled with my new home. I would definitely work with Dexter’s Islington again in the future should the need arise.

This review and 5 stars are specifically for Monika Piszczyk and not the wider company or other individuals/employees. We recently had Monika visit our flat and engage with the landlord to facilitate a change of boiler. She is professional, communicative, fair and compassionate - very, very rare traits in her line of work, which we incredibly appreciated. We were impressed by her efficiency, solution-finding skills and organisation and we hope to keep working closely with her. Really poor service from property management

Worst property managemnt team you can find. We deal with them for a few proerties and every time communication is poor and delayed. You need to chase them for updates for the most basic requests and clearly the team of majority women are there to window dress as they clearly do not know their job. Please rather recruit for experience and knowledge as to window dressing with women who are rude and have no idea what they are doing. USELESS on every level
