It was/is stressful and it took a long time to sell just over 20 weeks but it appears lots of properties took a very long time due to the way the market was/is. We requested an early tenancy termination with 6 months notice (to leave 2 months earlier than contracted due to buying a new build property). We have lived in the property for 7.5 years and never caused an issue. We are now less than 3 weeks away from moving and NOTHING has been done. Delays on responses from the agents for over 4-5 weeks at a time despite being chased, the house is still not up for relet online yet they are expecting us to be liable for all costs until another tenant occupies the property. The service has been nothing but abysmal. My garden is currently a hazard to both mine and my neighbours children due to a falling down fence in the garden which was reported over 4 MONTHS AGO!!! Again chased numerous times but nothing has been done. An ignition hob that hasn’t worked in the whole 7 years we’ve been here, damp in the bathroom for over a year yet the rent still went up last year given all these outstanding issues. Avoid renting from Reeds at all costs.
Hi Taylor,We're disappointed to read this review after as you say a longer term tenancy which as far as I can see has been on the whole successful. We're sorry you feel we have offered a service that has fallen short of what you expected. As you are aware, we had reached out to the landlord when we received your request to ask if you could break the contract. We do need to wait for consent to end a tenancy earlier than the fixed term and sometimes it can take a little while for the landlord to process what is involved and any costs they had not planned for. The maintenance team were reviewing the fence with you, your neighbour and the landlord in an attempt to determine ownership in advance of repairs being instructed. We will be in touch to follow up as I understand you have now left the property and dropped keys to branch.Regards,Reeds Rains

The staff at Reeds Rains Ormeau Road made selling my house an easy process Ryan who was the estate agent whom I was dealing with was my main point of contact and was always very friendly, approachable, pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable as was Grainne the main negotiator who gave me good advice when required who I dealt with over phone and kept me constantly updated throughout the transition of selling the property which was sale agreed within a matter of weeks. I can highly recommend them

Everything! I have used a few estate agents over the years and I would say, these are by far the best I have dealt with. The staff are very professional, approachable and very quick to reply to queries. David is an asset to the company, nothing is to much trouble, he is a very hard worker and yet still remains pleasant and approachable. I am a bit of a forgetful fruitcake, but they have managed to keep me on track and everything is going great. The girls I have spoken to have all been lovely. If I were to sell my house again ( which I am never going to) I would use Reeds Rains with no hesitations.

Really awful company to deal with. They lie many times and avoid responsibility for their incompetence, Integrity is missing in bucketloads but greed is a paramount behaviour. Why this company is allowed to operate as a tenancy management company with utter contempt toward the customer is beyond me. Hard faced liars. Not a thread of sincerity. Absolutely stressful to deal with and will never go back.

Let me give you some background first, my girlfriend and I had been living in a mouldy, cramped up tiny box bedroom at my toxic mums place where we were giving way too much for rent for where we was. After countless of knock backs being rejected for places around Cleethorpes, Immingham and Grimsby, but our first time dealing with Reeds Rains we now have our own place to call out own, and all thanks to the team at Grimsby town. A very special thanks to all the staff working there! I myself really appreciate everything they did! I highly recommend!

Don't pay any holding deposit until when they say, think and make sure the property is correct. they will not return you deposit and talk to you with no respect.Alex from Stoke on Trent is the worst person to deal with and he is manager of branches in stoke.
