Stephanie in the Plaistow branch was a great source of support during the purchase of our new home - she was available for help with everything (including matters relating to the sale of our previous property, which we were doing without an agent) and kept a close eye on the whole process from initial offer to completion. Durham Branch - I honestly would give them 10 starts if I could! Gem and Lucy are the main people I have been dealing with in purchasing a property. They have been really helpful and understanding through the purchase ensuring that any questions we have had have been answered and liaising with the seller for us. Dissapointing and tedious. I bought a property through RR. The process was slow and mediocre but in an industry where it's predominantly poor I was patient and can say it was 'ok'. I gave my new investment to RR to then let out and manage. Again the lettings process was alright, ongoing management was a little slow but a few of their people have a good service. After the second year, my tenancy was coming to an end and no one seemed to care. Myself nor my tenants heard from RR despite chasing until after the end date of the tenancy. By that time I had contacted my tenant myself (obviously) and made our own arrangements. Once RR eventually realised they'd dropped a ball, rather than apologise and look to win my business back, they proceeded to pursue me for a termination of service fee. I will not be using their business for any future transactions or management of my portfolio. And should I come across a property I wish to buy advertised by them I will go out of my way to locate the owner and deal directly with them. Not good enough.

Very sharp and dodgy sales tactics, abrupt and surly, not convinced they pass on accurate information to thier clients, are they trying to maipulate sellers and buyers for thier own selfish reasons, another case why estate agents need to be regulated.

I recently purchased a property through reed rains. I wasnt in a hurry to purchase and the staff didn’t rush me, let me view the property when I wanted to (several times ) and guided me through the purchasing process at my pace. Overall the staff were experienced, professional and very friendly throughout. Special thanks to manager Sue. Ben and Grace. You are all a credit to the company and thank you all. Keep up the good work.

When moving in the house was damp and dirty, stains and dirt over most surfaces dispute being told it would be fixed.Repeated complaints of damp were made and ignored. Only when environmental health and citizens advice were contacted did reeds bother to do anything. The only thing they did was harass the tenant. Not make any repairs.On leaving, reeds rains continued to harass the tenant and demanded payment for cleaning, despite cleaning being done by the tenant and the dirty state it was leased in.You will not get a straight answer out of them.I could not recommend them less.

I had the misfortune to use this company. Issues immediately with damp in the property which were repeatedly flagged up and not resolved. The conditions lead to wardrobes and desks being thrown out due to mould damage, mildew and spores on my sofa and mattress, and increased asthma symptoms. All of this was told to the company, merely to be told move furniture further away from the walls. As though 5 inches away was not enough. Walls and wood furniture were bleached fully once a week by myself but merely masked the issue and didn't treat it.Despite citizens advice, and a member of staff at reeds, saying this is unacceptable conditions and a breach of contract, the repairs were still not made. Staff that don't listen or resolve issues, shocking.As well as these awful conditions, dispute has been made over the return of the deposit. How this company is still running is an amazement. I have heard multiple stories so similar to this and yet no improvements.

GoogleAbsolute joke of a service. I was essentially promised a house to let, the landlady agreed on a price but then was messed around for over a week due to various excuses. Now I am told she has found a tenant offering a higher price and no longer wants my business. Refused to take any blame in the situation. Having relied on this house, I now am struggling to find a property elsewhere. I continually had to chase issues up with Reeds Rains, after promising phone calls I found myself calling them numerous times and spending lengthy amounts of times on hold. Maybe you will have more luck actually buying a property where they'll make more money from you but they have absolutely no regard for students. Avoid!

GoogleThe Huddersfield branch of reeds rain are awful to deal with, not only does it take around 3-5 minutes of constant ringing for them to eventually answer the phone, but they persistently give the wrong postcodes, we were given 3 different postcodes for one property, subsequently, we canceled all other viewings we had with reeds rain Huddersfield. When we finally got to the one and only property we ended up viewing with reeds rain, we were greeted by Paul, who persistently mentioned that we were late (possibly due to the 3 different postcodes), and couldn't tell us if it was a combi boiler or just central heating boiler... It was the latter. All in all, not a very pleasant experience after travelling over 2 hours, the property was nice with lots of potential, but needless to say we were not interested.
