I have just moved in to my rented property through Jack Smith's and it was a positive experience! Aaron was really helpful from the moment I viewed the flat, right up until I received the keys to the property, and was on hand to promptly answer any questions I had in-between! I have long wanted to live in Brighton but was still a bit nervous about the move and it all taking ages. Luckily Jack Smith already have all the systems in place to make the experience as pain free and seamless as possible. All the form filling is online/via an app, which saved time and was great for me as I was based in London. I'm almost settled in now and don't regret making the move! If you are looking for a speedy and helpful service, I can really recommend this agency!

Aaron, was incredibly helpful and helped us secure our new home within 5 days of seeing the property. He was very responsive and answered any questions that we had. Aaron made it a breeze for us. Previously to seeing this property, we were beginning to believe that there was no home out there. But Aaron helped make this a possibility and provided incredible service during the process. Wholeheartedly recommend Recently purchased a property with Jack Smith agent and the service was outstanding. They are energetic and responsive. We were buying a property and Jack liaised with us and the sellers with professionalism and sensitivity; trying to balance needs of both parties. Aaron was also really helpful and made sure we knew the area around the property. They are local and have grown up in Brighton - they know a lot about the area and are willing to share that with all parties. Jack is really, really quick to respond which takes uncertainty out of process. Even after exchange he and his team continued to go above and beyond. He came over and handed keys personally at property - ourselves as buyers and sellers were there. I think both parties were happy with how Jack has managed the sale. Awful experience ending in a lot of wasted time after we put a holding deposit on a property. Took 2 weeks back and forth with agents and their third party referencing system RentProfile. I have never had any issues renting a property and have paid my rent on time for years, but throughout the whole situation I was made to feel like I was lying about my income. Ended with us losing the property and them taking our holding despoit. We were told by the agents that most people use this new referencing system. Well we found another property on the same street a few days later with a different agent who did their own referencing checks, which has always been my experience in the past. Their checks were done within a few days with no issues and we signed the tenancy within a couple of days and were able to move in a week later. Do not reccomend these agents due to their referencing system and bad communication.

I have a disability and am in a wheelchair and both Aaron and Jack went out of their way to make my application, referencing and moving process as smooth as possible. As an owner of large portfolio of investment properties I have been searching for the right management agents that actually know what they are doing. I have had encounters with other local firms. (the ones with the shiny shoes) and I have found them unprofessional, they have no rapport with our tenants and simply don't know what they are doing. Since having our properties managed by jack smith estate agents including leasehold properties I have not been able to find fault. One of the main positives is that us as the landlord we are kept informed and involved as much as we want to be and everything is dealt with in a pragmatic way. We have not only used jack smith for management but also for selling property which was done with ease and professionalism from start to finish. With the current offer of 0.5% what have you got to lose.
