Disappointing

We approached Dexters to rent out our property. Initially they were very helpful. When we were ready to move ahead I asked for a copy of the agreement we would have to sign with them. Despite chasing them up, we have had no communication from them since then. I don't know if they just couldn't be bothered with the admin but we have now taken our business elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Dear Dexters,I want to clarify: I posted two photos of lists. The original list included limescale and walls. In the second list, not a single item was included after we sought permission to use the wall and addressed the limescale references. They are being more tricky. I am 100% certain they are being tricky, and now I’m confused about who is behind it.Long story here but please read if you can.These photos (cannot post here so you can see at google reviews)were taken during the handover. Is this considered messy or not? Please take a look and let me know. If what I’m saying isn’t entirely accurate, I don’t have time to share it publicly here.I am writing to share a concerning experience regarding my tenancy at Queens Garden W2 3AF. Having recently moved out on November 8th, I find myself facing an unsettling situation with the landlord.Despite being diligent tenants, my husband and I have not received our deposit back. The landlord has attributed this delay to water marks from the washing machine, dishwasher, and alleged issues with wall paint, concerns initially communicated one and a half months ago. Despite sending ten emails seeking resolution, there has been no response until today.In light of these circumstances, we are considering legal action. However, I feel compelled to highlight the unreasonable behavior of the landlord. While the nature of their claims remains unclear to us, I wish I could publicly share the check-in and check-out list to shed light on the situation.I urge fellow residents to be aware that the landlord is exhibiting unusual conduct, insisting on renovations as if the property were brand new. Our tenure of one and a half years was concluded through their agent, during which we faced no issues. Even when the landlord addressed a water leak in the bathroom, necessitating special tiles and rendering one main bedroom bathroom unusable for three months, we accommodated the inconvenience without complaint.It is perplexing why our deposit is being withheld on grounds that seem entirely unreasonable. If anyone has encountered a similar scenario, your guidance would be immensely appreciated. We, as tenants who consistently maintained peaceful occupancy, paid rent punctually, and handed over the property in excellent condition, seek assistance.They want us to pay £1,808.00.I strongly and confidently state that I am willing to pay may be 50% £125 for cleaning, even if it’s not necessary. However, the entire list of charges is completely inaccurate, and we can legally approve it.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,Heather

My experience with ( DEXTERS). This is the first property I have ever rented and the service has been second to none from the very beginning. From the initial viewing to signing the contract, everything was made so easy and straight forward by the staff at (Peter James ) as possible as at then . I was with them from 2018, before DEXTERS took over. They are nice friendly and easy to deal with team , never had any problems, and any reports have been dealt with immediately. The team of workmen are polite & friendly as well, they leave the property just how they met it . I would miss my small cozy place . I am extremely happy with the service I have received and everyone I have spoken to or emailed in the office have always been kind and very helpful. The Highlight for me is with VIRAJ, he broke the news that my house was up for sale , it broke my heart, but he was extremely professional, He very supportive throughout the process of my house search, constantly making sure that I was fine . In the process I lost my dad. The Long and short of it all is that VIRAJ @ Dexter's property management is professional, efficient and most of all he has a human heart . There are no fancy seats, they have only water to offer, they don't drive mini coppers for the viewings, the interior are not very nice. However, they know how treat potential customers. It was the best service I have had from an agency at the best price. Leigh, is a lovely lady and she really cares for what she is offering and how she deals with your specific requirements. She found us the loveliest place. The best way to describe what true customer service is, is by telling you the following: One day I had problems with my key, I didn't have it! I was with my daughter, my husband was in Paris, and she was starting to be hungry. I rang the agency asking for help. She very kindly came, five minutes after my call and opened the door with the agencies spare keys. I was so thankful and embarrassed at the same time, but mostly really glad I choose them.
