I do not recommend buying a house from Barratt Developments in particular the Linmere development. My experience with their customer service has been very poor, and the quality of the materials used in the construction is unacceptable. The house suffers from serious condensation issues due to cheap materials, which has led to damp and mold problems. Although the properties look attractive in photos and during viewings, the reality after moving in is very different. The after-sales service is disappointing, and support has not met reasonable expectations. I strongly advise potential buyers to be extremely careful and to thoroughly inspect the property before making a purchase. Do not buy here!!

1 star because when we were looking to buy a house the sales person as she found the parking was one of the key decision making points mentioned that we will have 1 parking space and there is a lot of free parking area around the property to park the second car, and recently this promise taken back as they put restrictions for parking and when the limited visitors bays nearby or even far away from the property are full as the cars are more than the visitors bays, we have to park on the road we get fined £100 for not having where to leave our cars.

Worst customer service, until you buy the house they will look after everything.once you have get the keys, they don’t care about anything. Poor finishing, within a year I have water leakage, heater issue, lock issue, ceiling …

Low quality for extremely high prices. They don’t allow you to view the flat before you pay. You can only see a showroom and after that everyone had a disappointing experience with leaks, cracks they don’t fix, pipes that block and so much more.
