Crowley Estates managed my property for several years and provided rent collection and management services with 6 monthly inspection reports. Once or twice a year I had to chase for payment of the rent. When I returned to the property after the tenants had moved out and had the all clear on the cleaning etc from Crowleys, I found my property in a terrible state of disrepair and absolutely filthy. Unreported issues with damp, leaking chimeys, rusted fireplaces, the oven needed to be replaced although it was signed off as clean by Crowleys. I had to spend in excess of £6000 to restore the property to a condition suitable for renting.
