They went above and beyond to help me get the property repairs completed, recommending quality local trades and being available to help with access to the property when I was unable to be there. I was served section 21 notice just just after 6 months of renting the property, they claimed the owner wanted to sell and I offered to buy. They then came back to me that the Landlord is no more interested in selling and a family member was moving in. I eventually moved out. Alas, time to pay my deposit came, the agency and the landlord came up with various excuses to avoid paying back my deposit. By the way I am a very compliant tenant, paid on time, even emailed to ask them what my balance is before I moved out and paid every penny. I did not trash the property and the property was handed back the way we met it. I have a decent amount to purchase a property, emailed 2 of their sales team members already but will never even go near them as I am so disappointed in them right now.I am so so disappointed that they are trying to avoid to pay back my deposit with all tricks in the book. This is my money and I want it back fully.

Simply the best and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Alice Rimmer and the staff at the Ashton branch are great to deal with, professional and totally on the ball. They sold mother's property within days of listing and then their Move Manager, Geraldine Marsden took over to very ably shepherd the sale to completion. That is such a valuable role because it saved me the hassle and worry of chasing people up.

I sold my house via the Heywood branchCatherine Salisbury was fantastic all the way through, extremely knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the previous whether it be good or bad news regarding viewings, etc.You can tell that Catherine & the rest of the team (Jenna, etc.) work really well together & the response whenever i called was up to speed & answered very professionally & friendly, so much so that at times i felt i was the only client they had. Nothing was too much trouble & although the house selling experience can be quite stressful, the R&D team at Heywood made it far easier than i've ever experienced previously. Thank you

There were a number of complicated issues with probate and we were greatly supported whilst these were resolved.Nothing was too much trouble which again in the high pressure environment of house selling was very encouraging. Ryder & Dutton tailored their service to my needs and helped make the sale of the property relatively stress-free.My agent Leon was professional, attentive, great in communication and very friendly. I seldom needed to chase up for an update as he kept me informed and updated regularly.The team, especially Nick demonstrated professional knowledge and understanding of the local market very well.The photographer who worked with them also took very high standard photos for the property.Although there were one or two things they could further improve on, overall they are a very good estate agent that I would recommend. I felt that I had made the right decision choosing them.

Positive points: Branch Manager was very helpful during initial process, and guided me very well and house went up on sale fairly easily and quickly. The drawing of contract was easy.Negative points: Once house was sold, Lack of communication, I wasn’t kept up to date, I had to do lots of chasing around and even with that I would get redundant answers. Any information I was seeking from seller where agent has to act as a bridge, it was almost impossible asking them for help. Staff not very helpful. Based on this I think they are overpriced for services they give. Will I recommend R&D? No!

Recently used Ryders Uppermill to sell my property and then went onto purchase a property through them. Honestly a great experience from start to finish. The staff are very helpful, from Charlotte's communication organising viewings, bookings etc to Jenny Boyle who literally took all the pressure off me and my family when moving house. Nothing was too much and when i needed Jenny the most, without any comeback or moaning she jumped on it. Great experience. Thank you very much. Will defo use Ryder and Dutton Uppermill going forward

Ada worked hard to try and keep everyone infomed even through some parties/solicitors were less than helpful at times. One thing that would have helped would be to tell buyers/ sellers not to book vans until they recieve written confirmation. As a person who doesn't buy/sell houses often that would have really helped.
