I had the pleasure of renting from Charles Barbour for three years, and he has been the most considerate, flexible, and efficient landlord I could have hoped for. His dedication and attentiveness made me question whether I should buy at all, given how seamless and stress-free my rental experience was. Charles was always available whenever I needed assistance, promptly answering calls and addressing any concerns, no matter how small. His proactive approach and willingness to go above and beyond made a significant difference in my renting experience. Charles is a landlord who genuinely cares about his tenants' well-being and comfort. We’ve worked with Brooklands Property Holdings both as and Agent and tenant. We found Brooklands to be extremely fair and professional towards their residential tenants maintaining high standards throughout. We are also lucky enough to be part of the Hesslewood Office Park community and have been tenants here in our fabulous TreePod since 2023. The grounds are always immaculately kept with the park going from strength to strength with Debbie and the team investing heavily in the development and maintenance of the park.

I’m absolutely appalled by brooklands namely Debbie for giving people permission to shoot the foxes and rabbits in broad daylight, God knows what the residents in the home next door think to grown men on the field with guns! A lot of the wildlife on there will come from the Humber Bridge country park, so they are culling their wildlife too, have a heart and let nature take its course please. The wildlife has never actually been that bad on there anyway to warrant human interference. Tree top offices have been built to overlook the field and wildlife & all you’ll see is men with guns , if you are an animal lover I’d think twice about renting space on there as the only thing safe is the Bee’s!

We rented a property in London on a short term basis from Brooklands, and the experience was very positive indeed. Despite us only spending six months in the flat, Charlie was keen to ensure our stay was as straight forward and easy as possible. We made a few requests shortly before moving in (blinds, clothes rails, etc.) and these had been installed within a day or so with no hassle whatsoever, whilst everything within the property (bathrooms, kitchen, etc.) was of high quality. Charlie would check in from time to time by email to ensure everything was going well, and would be on site first thing the following morning in case we needed help with anything. Moving in and out were both seamless, and he clearly took great care to ensure the next tenants entered into a freshly painted and fully cleaned place. All in all, our stay within one of the company's properties was an excellent experience and I would recommend highly.

They consistently go above and beyond for their customers. Their Hesslewood estate (where I am based) is a wonderful blend of old and new, practical and artistic properties, with a premium Boutique Fitness Studio available to all tenants. The quality of the office accommodation provided be Brooklands is and has always been second to none. The location is first class which is attractive from a customer and staff perspective. The site benefits from excellent facilities and importantly with the owners having their own offices on site means that they take a real hands on approach about the ongoing management of the estate. A hidden gem for businesses, the location is excellent - situated on the edge of Hull with excellent comuter and transport links and set in beautiful well maintained private grounds. The historic buildings have been internally refurbished with high specifications and high-speed fibre optic Internet service is available. Just watch out for the peacocks that happily roam the grounds, sometimes they can startle visitors, but it does bring something unique at the same time.
