I use Thomas Childs for a rental property in Hertford. I have been dealing with Adele after a tenant left and there were lots of things to sort out and organise. Adele has been great to deal with and is professional and always helpful whenever I contact her. In this instance, there were many things to get sorted in a short space of time. I had a very positive experience with Thomas Childs & Co. I dealt mainly with Emma, and briefly with Harley, during viewings and the referencing process. Emma was extremely responsive throughout, always quick to reply, clear in her communication, and very helpful at each stage. She made the whole process feel smooth and straightforward, which I really appreciated. What I also really appreciate is that the Thomas Childs team continues to be supportive even after everything was completed. Whenever I need a repair or service, they are helpful and responsive, which makes a real difference. I’d also like to mention Talyia, who was consistently professional, approachable, and helpful whenever I interacted with her. Overall, a great experience and I would happily recommend Thomas Childs & Co. to anyone looking for a professional and reliable service.

Emma was brilliant with us start to finish! She knew how keen we was on the Property we wanted to rent and made sure we was the first to view. Emma showed us the property and was very professional throughout. We wanted the property on the first viewing so we put a holding deposit down. We delt with Emma and harley throughout our referencing they was both brilliant and kept us in the loop the whole time. We couldn't reccomend enough! We have been in the Property for 3months now and couldn't be anymore happier.

Thomas and Childs have been absolutely brilliant throughout my entire sale and purchase. Especially Sharon. While having an absolute nightmare of a sale using another party Sharon was constantly on the case, always giving me prompt updates or simply checking in. She has done everything and more to guide me through my purchase. I cannot recommend enough, and if you decide you use Thomas and child’s for either sale or purchase and Sharon is appointed to you, you will be in good hands. She has made something that could have been a nightmare somewhat manageable. And even checked in after completion to make sure me and my partner had settled in well.

Highly recommend Thomas Childs for Lettings. I originally spoke with Tom who was friendly and helpful when passing me over to the lettings team to market my property. I dealt with Emma throughout who was absolutely amazing, she worked above and beyond to find me a suitable tenant. I was kept updated with all viewings and feedback throughout the marketing process and once a tenant was found the process of moving them in was smooth. I also had a few dealings with Harley along the way in Emma’s absence who was also amazing. I couldn’t have chosen a better agent to manage my property. Thank you all.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Justin and his team and cannot recommend them enough. We had a tenant lined up and ready to move into our property and at the last minute the tenant withdrew. Justin and his team were able to secure another fully referenced tenant in a very short space of time and were even able to secure a slightly higher rent than was previously agreed. Excellent service from Tom and Karen on the sale and purchase of our properties. Sold quickly and Tom showed us multiple properties to buy and advised us to look at the house we bought (even though we had discounted it) so he knew better than us what we needed! Kept us informed throughout, Karen was very responsive and chased the chain when needed. The whole process was pretty smooth which is what you don’t expect with house buying/selling! I honestly can not fault Thomas Childs in anyway. From the start I was dealing with Danny King who was massively responsive, always at the end of the phone call for my many of questions. He was honest and genuine and made me feel comfortable. he was easy to talk to and nothing was to much. Even if I HAD 6+ questions in the same day. He understood what I wanted and helped me to achieve that. Even his attention to detail sending me his goodwill making sure everything ran smoothly after I had moved. Unfortunately he was busy on the day of my contract sign so I dealt with Xena who again was nothing but professional and lovely. she took some time with me and ran through everything I needed to know in perfect detail and couldn't have been more polite and pleasant to talk to. She had helped with my transition and was lovely to work with. since my move I have been in regular contact with Justin who again has been equally amazing. if you need to find a place to live and want to find a group of people who care more about making everyone happy to the best of their ability instead of how much money they can take off an individual then honestly Thomas Childs is the absolute please to look. With a selection of amazing homes on the books, to a group of staff who want nothing more then for each client to smile.
