Please do not buy a dual hight folding walker from care and co

t 20tI bought a dual hight folding walker 13 months ago. 2 days ago it fell apart while I was using it. Having recovered from the consequences, i fell ont the wall and the stairlift I was about to use and the shock 0of the incident. I went to bed at about 20.00 I woke at 0100 the next day in so much pain I had to get up and stumble to my riser recliner and sadly to take extra pain relief. I contacted care co by email and when they opened at 0800 I phoned My wife had to take photos of the walker and then we had to send them to care co To cut things short after several emails and phone calls I was told that as the item was out of guarantee the best they could offer was that if I boxed the walker and returned it to them they would attempt to rebuild it. They totally ignored my comments that because there was no lock nut holding the handle together this collapse was inevitable. This is a dangerous possibly very dangerous item and needs to be recalled and rengineered. I will be contacting the HSE advising them nof this experience and in my opinion please do not but this item Additionally be aware that Care and Co will hide behind there guarantees and that they appear to ignore the danger that a failed product could be for other customers.

I bought a new mobility scooter from them paid for 2 years service there was some knobs missing when they come todo the service told I would have to pay them Herd no more so found that second service 2weeks over when I had a fault told we don't let you know you have to pay 200 p0unds for service bought a new charger had a fault again took to shop they were not really interested all They want to do is get you to pay high prices for parts very poor service I took it to a small place repaired no charge
