I first contacted Clyde Property after a recommendation in the summer of 2025 as I have 2 properties in Helensburgh and was looking to sell one which had become empty. I had some bad experiences with other agencies in the town in 2019 and 2024 and I was beginning to think I was cursed. However I reached out and I met with Allan Goodger who gave me some advice on how I could make the property more saleable as it had been rented off and on for 17 years and looked a bit tired. I listened and made the changes which involved a small financial outlay but nothing major. I then contacted the office to learn that he had retired but Seona Cashmore was overseeing sales and we had a friendly conversation. I was initially impressed by her enthusiasm and obvious passion for sales and also that although my property was neither glamorous or high end, she was keen to list and market it. I also noticed that the office support staff were good at taking calls and relaying messages and I didn’t feel overlooked in any way. Photos were taken and a video was made and everything looked great. I later showed these photos and video to my close friend Michael Annan of Annan Property here in Edinburgh and he was very impressed. Price wise I didn’t feel overcharged I paid the industry standard and I provided my own home report from my previous attempt to sell. It went live on the internet and I was able to track the progress using a great app called street.co.uk. It allowed me to see the number of unique views online as well as viewing appointments. I have never worked an agency that uses this modem system but I certainly hope to again. Due to residing outside of Helensburgh I was unable to attend viewings and a member of staff named Esme carried them out for me. We had 6 viewings in one day in blocks of 2 with others scheduled for the next day and I attribute the high amount of interest to the quality of the marketing and the strategy of Seona in setting the offers over price. I was presented with an offer within 2 days of the property being live which I was happy to accept. Clyde negotiated further on my behalf and I went from being happy to being ecstatic. This is a weight off my mind and proof positive that not all estate agents are the same. The Helensburgh office is home to professionals who are clearly passionate about the sale and rental of residential property and are good at it. My whole experience was refreshing and overwhelming in equal measure. Thankyou for the respect shown and hard work. I am very grateful. RJ

As a newcomer to Scotland I struggled to understand the system and to attend viewings, but the staff at Helensburgh were endlessly patient with me. They proactively called me when they knew there were new properties coming on to the market that might interest me, and took a real personal interest in persevering until I got the right one. Viewings were easy to arrange and flexible and they kept me updated about the progress of sales. I really appreciated their friendly manner and professionalism at a very stressful time in my life.
