Kristina was very efficient at getting my rental paperwork sorted and finalizing the lease. As an international student/tenant doing everything online remotely (and being unfamiliar with the UK rental system!), she was very helpful and patient as she took me through the process. We had careful guidance from the start as to how to improve the appearance of our home which after 34 years had been well lived in. Equally well thought through was the selling price and the filtering of genuine clients which resulted in offers from all but one of them. Can't fault Savills the whole way through.

Horrible experience

Had Savills as an agent to buy a property in Goldhurst Terrace. Price was agreed with the seller, I paid the solicitor and agreed a mortgage, when they suddenly asked me to raise the price again.. apparently someone else came in with a higher bid after my offer was already accepted... Disastrous experience, untrustworthy agent..

The very worst letting agents I have encountered

As many others have said here, having Savills as letting agents is a really unpleasant experience.They recently took over as agents here and it’s honestly like having a bully in your own home. You just never know what the next email is going to say - They’re rude and heavy handed. I’ve been living here happily for a few years now, as have others on the row; we all get on, pay our rent on time, look after the properties and are generally good tenants - the way Savills behave, you’d think the polar opposite. A home (rented or owned) is supposed to be precisely that - a home, your safe space - Savills fail to understand that and make renting from them upsetting and unpredictable.Letting smaller properties is not their forte - it’s a secondary service they offer to larger, wealthy clients and that lack of knowledge, experience and care shines through. If you’re looking at renting from Savills, please be wary. If you’re looking at renting properties through then, please reconsider - this is not their speciality, it’s not what they’re good at! You want nice, happy tenants (like myself and my neighbours) and Savills cannot give you that and they will ruin it if you have it already.

I’m I first time buyer who wisely decided that the best time to purchase a property was during the pandemic. I’ve dealt with people not turning up for the viewings, people showing me inappropriate properties, such as places with no parking regardless of the fact that I said I needed one, and, most infuriatingly, people talking business with my father even after I identified myself as the buyer who is paying for everything.Pete Cronin at Victoria Point is amazing, and is part of the reason why I loved the property so much (although it’s a beautiful place!). He was kind, honest and took the time to ask me what I’m looking for and how I’d like to do things. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed out of the office at all, he told me to take my time and think about it if I need to, or come back and do another viewing, and nothing was too much to ask for. I could come back to view it whenever possible and Pete was always in touch with me to provide updates.When I found out from my solicitor that they were missing a document that was leaving them unable to submit my application I emailed Pete who looked into that within minutes and got it sorted (turns out they weren’t being too honest!) the same day.What I thought would be fraught with paperwork, fees and stress has been nothing but pleasant (at least on Pete’s side!) because of him! Please let him know, he deserves recognition for all the help and kindness he has given me.Saranja
