GoogleI hope I get the chance to change this but they are complete rubbish after my experience today. The estate agent turned up late, didnt even greet us or introduce himself, he then looked for key which he couldnt find so phoned the office only to be told its already let and it had been since saturday. We booked the appointment after saturday. Crazy unprofessional and we had to travel a fair distance to get there so waste of time and money. This is my only experience with then so if they do better next time I will be first to admit it but this was completely terrible.
Update:
Yes as they have stated in reply they did email about apologising and making it up to us which we have accepted. Great way to respond and it was appreciated. We didn't reply straight away away we were away at the time but sorted it out the moment we got back! We would defo consider them in the future.

GoogleI was with Connections for 4 years and they were always ready to help me with any issues with fixtures. For example a broken element in the oven which was quickly repaired after bringing it to their attention. The boiler was regularly maintained. They trusted me to leave the flat in the same condition when I arrived and returned my deposit without any delays. We never had much contact during the tenancy as there were very few issues but it was good to know they were available should anything arise.

GoogleDidn't want to have to wade in on this company, but JKs 5* review "stating the facts" is not a review or a constructive piece of writing.
No one has mentioned the landlord agency acted outside of the contractual agreements set, if they had done that this would be a legal matter for breaking a contract, the reason for the bad reviews is for lack of support/aftercare on the tenants and for the misleading information given in regards to the landlords intentions of the premises in question.

If we may be allowed to explain - When you initially viewed the property, the owners had not advised us that they had any intention to sell, the property as we explained also, was owned by investment Landlord's and we understood that you wanted long term and at the time you viewed, we had no reason to believe that the property would not be available for a long let. If we had, we would not have shown you the property as it would not have been suitable for your needs (Long Term).
As you know, we contacted you after receiving notification from the Landlord, that they would like to sell and as you can appreciate, their wishes are totally out of our control.
The Owner as you know, put the property up for sale, but after a while and having not found a purchaser, they asked us to put the property up for rent - however, shortly after this, they changed their minds again, and the property is being re-furbished, with the view to putting it on the market for Sale again.
We understand why you feel like this may have been some sort of ploy, but we can assure you that it was not. We are afraid that we just have no control over a decision that a Landlord makes.

GoogleDo not trust this company, lied straight to my face, spoke to them about a property, I was renting at the time, our contract was changed at the end of a 6 month period to rolling 2 month and when i asked, in person, if we were safe in the property as we were intending to live there for a number of years said not to worry would be absolutely fine and spouted some nonsense about the landlord is retired and living off ours and others rent we ended up being told to leave after the 6 months ended which is not what we were led to believe and 2 months later moved out, the property was put up for sale and now after a year is back on the rent market for £125 more a month, if you seek to only rent for the initial contract you should be fine but dont expect anything more or any honest answers. Unfortunately cannot review the landlord also. Your money is better spent elsewhere

GoogleBearing in mind the experience I had with this company, one star would be incredibly generous... we rented a property from connections last year, them knowing quite well that we intended to stay in the same property for around 5 years+ and told us this would be possible in the property we were interested in. Once we let the property with them we had numerous appointments with building surveyors visiting to which Connections kept reassuring us the landlord was looking to extend the lease and was not looking to sell. Not even six months into our tenancy we received 8 weeks notice to vacate the property as the landlord was in fact selling, regardless of endlessly lying to us about the landlords intentions. After vacating the property 3 months later it is now back on the rental market with them to draw in its next victims. I normally wouldn't judge a book by its cover however with connections what you see is what you get, two slimy dishonest crooks. They are perfectly happy to work with dodgy landlords and screw their tenants over, the worst part about this matter is they are continuously doing this with the same property every year and I sadly know I am not the first for this to happen to nor the last. If you are looking to rent with this company proceed with caution!
