I viewed a property on Hayling with Jason and was interested straight away, and within a few days Jason had me signing paperwork, Jason was very well organised and responded very respectfully and quickly, Jason answered every question I asked even when I thought it was silly it didn't matter, he explained everything fully to me and was always well mannered I can't thank Jason and Geoff foot lettings as a whole enough for getting me into a new property and so quickly too.

GoogleUnprofessional and zero compassion. They served a s21 notice to a single mother who was fully up to date on rent and had been for 3 years, claiming the landlord wanted the property for family member. Insisted this was the case even after meeting with them. Tenant managed to find somewhere, had to be off the island and an inferior property. Within 1 week of leaving, the property was up for rent for £600 more per month. Absolutely no scruples and a shameful way of dealing with legitimate and good tenants. Zero support or empathy was afforded to the evictee and her family. The new legislation can’t come in quick enough to deal with the likes of Geoff Foots (and Jason) and such unscrupulous landlords. Had to chase for up to date gas certificate and repairs were not done in a timely manner. Avoid at all costs.

Its a shame you have resorted to this review Charmaine, although I was expecting it. I understand a tenant never wants to leave a property, it is a costly hassle and brings upheaval anybody could do without especially a family and I do agree that you were always well mannered and paid on time. However we as agents work on behalf of the landlord. If they instruct us to serve notice within the legal frames/rules set out under the current housing act then we must do so. We cannot go against their wishes despite our personal opinions. We when were asked to serve notice to you we were informed not to put the property back on afterwards as a family member was going to occupy the property. It was not until we met the landlord to hand over keys and go through the check out with him that we were informed plans had changed and in fact the property was going to be re-let. At that point we of course advised him of the going rental amount in the local area for similar properties (which was of course going to be higher then the rent you paid considering the recent market increases and the fact the landlord did not increase the rent for you in your entire 3 year tenancy). So whilst I understand your frustration I feel the negative review is harsh considering we had no choice but to serve notice as that is what we were instructed to do - Jason

Really disappointed you have left this review Portia, it is completely fabricated!! As you quite rightly say you viewed one of our properties (directly with the owner) but unfortunately that is the only truth in your review. The landlord made the decision, not us, and never did we say it was because they only had 1 child and two working parents, we did not disclose a reason (although the reason was as simple as the landlord really got on with the other viewers so instructed us to rent it to them). During our call to you informing you of the landlords decision you asked us what situation the people were in that got it, we told you all we can divulge is that it is 2 adults, 1 child. Then suggested we were being discriminative (we have loads of single parent tenants, employed & unemployed, and never discriminate) then you were rude and swore to a member of staff (second time this year). At this point you were told because this behavior has happened twice we would no longer deal with you.
