FacebookWhilst I Jim to be very professional and on the ball I find I can’t recommend this business as I have never in my 60 years been treated as rudely and aggressively as I was yesterday by his receptionist ( if I can grace her with that description!) . I walked in to the office, in which only she was present to collect keys of a purchase. She sat texting on her phone for fully 5 minutes. She did not look up or acknowledge my presence in any way. I waited patiently though getting more irritated. When eventually she deigned to look up she demanded very aggressively to know why I looked irritated! She proceeded to carry on a very rude way demanding my name- including my Christian name which I chose not to supply and in general being incredibly confrontational. This is not what I expect ‘front of house’ from a reputable business and indeed had our business not been concluded I would have withdrawn from the purchase on the strength of this display. Hawick struggles generally and this attitude does nothing to help the business represented or the town as a whole.
