I agree with the review below. I was not aware it was gonna be a “self viewing”.
I booked viewings through Spareroom and viewed 2 properties and both were not what it looks like as advertised. I’m so glad I didn’t rely on the virtual tour. There were mould on the ceiling which I expressed but she did not acknowledge that concern, keeps bringing up moving on to the next step. 2nd property was a mess furnitures dismantled, kitchen was filthy. it was very much a misleading advertisement.
Only cares about moving on to the “next step” which was payment same day.
Friendly on the phone but other than that a big NO. Doesn’t care about concerns regarding property.
Don’t waste your time look for better landlords there might still be some left

GoogleVery poor customer relations. Did not meet me at property for a viewing, refused to meet me in person to talk through the terms of a rental contract. That in itself was the largest red flag.
The rental contract in itself was very badly written and expecting a £800 deposit to even apply for a room with no guarantee of a returned deposit if found unsuitable.
Do not recommend these guys at all.
I will say they were friendly and open though. Just dodgy.

Arranged a viewing days in advance for Saturday at 11 am. Received a message at 11.20 am on the day saying the room isn't available anymore. Look at all the other negative reviews, don't let a property with this person. Awful experience, wasted my time and money.
