GoogleGreat estate agents, our year renting with them was smooth and especially Joanna has been the best property manager I’ve ever dealt with in my 9 years of renting. She has always been responsive and helpful and never failed to address any issue we had in the house throughout the tenancy. It’s a small company, very attentive to details, very human and great at solving problems, from leaks to bulky paperwork. If you’re renting in and around Hammersmith/Shepherd’s Bush, do trust Shield!

GoogleTerrible landlords! Avoid them. They are so unprofessional and rude. Katarina was the worst. Such a rude nasty woman. She would always talk down to me and would just barge into my flat without knocking. Managed to speak politely to my partner though! Would openly flirt with him in front of me and just ignore me. Had so many problems with the boiler that they refused to fix. Honestly, it was the most unhappy period of my life living in that property.

GoogleI was a tenant in a property managed by Shield. Probably the worse experience I have ever had. They were extremely unhelpful and rude throughout the entire tenancy. We signed a contract where we asked for two sofas that never came. At the end of the tenancy they tried to take most of the money from the deposit (nearly 2000) claiming they had to re-paint the entire house. When trying to talk to them about it I only received threats. We put a dispute and got most of it back but just proofs the kind of service they run... Really stressful situation so would avoid at all costs.

GoogleOutstanding Service for Washing Machine Replacement I am extremely pleased with the agency's prompt and effective resolution of the washing machine problem in my apartment. GoogleI’ve had great experience so far , I’ve move around 6 times in the last 10 years with various estate agents and it’s not been great, Shield properties have been amazing, easy to contact and report any issues without any hassle, And promptly dealt with, Iva at the office will be missed , thanks for being good management!

GoogleTerrible and unprofessional estate agents, STAY AWAY. they gave me a mouldy mattress upon moving in, and tried making me pay for it, claiming I ‘used the bed incorrectly’. They will try to take your entire deposit. I cannot stress this enough, avoid them like the black plague!!

GoogleTerrible customer service! They were rude whenever I rang up to report an issue/problem. They left me without any hot water or heating for over 6 weeks over the Christmas period & I had a 1 yr old living with me as well!! On a few occasions they let themselves into my flat at 7:30 am whilst I was still in bed asleep! They wandered straight into the bedroom with 2 men. They claimed they were there to check the boiler. The boiler was not in the bedroom. I used to pay my rent in cash & hand it in to their office. I rang one day to ask for their account details as I was heavily pregnant & could no longer manage the journey to their office. A few days later they chose to evict me. I had always paid my rent & had not damaged anything in the property. Hammersmith & Fulham council told me to refuse to leave & squat. As I was in hospital giving birth they boarded up the front door & threw my belongings out on the street including things for the new baby! When I confronted them they said I had told them I had moved out & given permission for my belongings to be destroyed. Absolute bollocks!!

Very friendly staff who go the extra mile to make things convenient for their tenants. We were even shown properties after their closing hours to make it easier for us! If you are planning to move to London (Hammersmith) from outside of the city like we did, they're the perfect agent and felt highly customer focused.
