GoogleWas told I had a viewing booked at half 3. Travelled an hour and got there before half 3. Waited half an hour and kept getting told the estate agent was stuck in traffic even though the whitegates office is 7 minutes down the road. In the end the estate agent never turned up. Time wasters, awful service and liars.

GoogleAvoid at all costs, first let us move into a property that stunk of cat piss. Thankfully the landlord sorted that straight away. Didn't even realise our lease was up. Had to chase them for our deposit back and didn't nothing to fix the mould problem that got progressively worse over time after reporting In October last year. Then proceed to say its your fault because you didn't tell them they extent. You would think a company that deals in property understands how mould works.

GoogleNot good at all I have been viewing a property and i interested they told me to wait they will let me know within 48 hours now it’s about a week I talked to them on the phone and emailed them 2-3 times no response yet it’s just wasting my time

GoogleI have used Whitegates for around 8 years to let out an apartment I own in Trooper Lane, Halifax. I have always received a very good service. Whitegates find tenants very quickly. They sort all the references and do the necessary checks every time. Emma in the lettings office is extremely helpful and friendly. People who write bad reviews forget the agent is not always at fault. If they fall victim to poor property owners they can only do so much! I think they do a very good job indeed. I would recommend them to both landlords and tennents alike!

GoogleRental house advertised as 'long term, ' however when our application was submitted we were told that it would be "a 6 month contract to begin with then onrolling after that". Once our application had been approved we were then told that "it will only be a 6 month contract as the owners are then wanting to move back in". What a waste of time and energy and a waste of a credit search. As a result we had to turn down the house as a 6 month term was no good for us.
