FacebookI cannot thank Lex Allan enough for their amazing service whilst purchasing my new home. Jess is an absolute credit to the company, it wasn’t an easy sale (nothing to do with Lex Allan) and Jess went out of her way to help in anyway she could. She is approachable, friendly, super efficient and her communication at all points of the sale was first class. I am now in my new home and she is still there to assist when I have a question for the vendors. I would 100% recommend Lex Allan to anyone looking to sell, buy or rent a property!

FacebookIf you’re looking to rent a filthy, mouldy house that has been completely neglected, then Lex Allan are your people. After getting the keys to a rented property, we discovered SO many issues including rotting windows, loose brickwork, plaster falling from the ceiling, fire risks, dodgy workmanship (legit used kitchen paper and tape to fix a hole in the wall) and so much more. Lex Allan and the landlord didn’t seem to care one bit about the state of this property and the fact we were supposed to be bringing a 6 month old into it. We were made to feel as though we were being dramatic. Apparently a rotting mouldy damp window is only a “snag”, nothing major, along with doors that didn’t close and windows that took extreme strength to open; wouldn’t want to be caught in a fire in this house! After an incredibly stressful time we managed to get the landlord (who refused to speak to us directly) to agree to end the contract. She kindly charged us a full month’s rent for the 1.5 hours we spent in the house though. We ended up taking it to the head of the company to try and get our money back but he was zero help. We didn’t encounter one empathetic or understanding member of staff. They even admitted they hadn’t inspected the property correctly nor would they live in it themselves, lucky for them it’s us who have taken the penalty though. We decided to let it go and accept the loss of hundreds of pounds because it was causing so much stress and anxiety dealing with it and these people clearly do not care. We thought it was over but now we’re receiving council tax bills through the door for a house we never lived in, so now we have to deal with that!!! Absolute insanity. Worst experience in my adult life.

The property was a difficult one to sell, they gave me wonderful service throughout the long process - I never felt like their interest dropped.
I was kept informed at all stages of marketing and then the sale, Kerrie was wonderful and coped with everything thrown at her, remaining positive and helpful throughout.
Top quality agents, and worth every penny, I would definitely use them again

I have found Lex Allan (Stourbridge) to be totally incompetent when it comes to Block Management. A leaky roof was reported to them over two years ago and it has still not been repaired. The rook leaks at both ends of the building. When it rains, water comes onto my bed. In the kitchen, water comes down the wall on to the electrics! I would not recommend Lex Allan to Landlords who want to instruct Management Agents to look after their properties. Landlords will get big problems from their tenants. There have been instances of using 'cowboy builders.' The work needed re-doing. It was reported to Lex Allan over two years ago. It has still not been rectified.

FacebookI sold my second home with Lex Allan earlier this year. From the moment Lex came to value my property, I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise. He took time to advise me and, just like his staff at the Stourbridge branch, went above and beyond every step of the way.
Due to the timing of my sale, I was fighting against the stamp duty holiday. Jess and the team kept me informed and did everything they could to make this happen - thank you!
I would not hesitate to use Lex again and would highly recommend this experienced agent.

Terrible service at Lex Allan Estate Agents Stourbridge, cannot enforce private parking despite paying a service charge each month of nearly £40 since we moved here in 2017, incompetent staff. 8 years on and still no parking enforcement.

FacebookDreadful estate agents who treated my niece and her husband appallingly. Not only did they think it was acceptable for them to rent a filthy, mould ridden house, with a 6 month old baby but there were a number of other issues (rotting windows, loose brickwork, plaster falling from the ceiling, fire risks). Lex Allan offered no help or support and they were charged a full month’s rent for the 1.5 hours they spent in the house. They did not encounter one empathetic or understanding member of staff. They even admitted they hadn’t inspected the property correctly, nor would they live in it themselves. They have since received a council tax bill for this house, which is absolutely absurd. It has been such a stressful time for them and they have encountered financial loss. I myself have estates agents coming to view my property to sell. I certainly won't be using Lex Allan.

She was rude and abrasive towards me and my family members when going through the application process and then she withdrew my application after 6 weeks of waiting for a move in date because I didn't say goodbye to her when I ended a phonecall. If you’re looking for an estate agents in stourbridge stay far away from this one. ZERO stars.
