We met with Audrey, for an inital survey. Audrey was lovely and very encouraging and helpful with her advice about having a home ready for viewing and sale.(Very important as there were things we would never have thought of). We then worked with Abbie for all the other aspects of selling the house. Abbie was very easy to work with, extremely professional and kept us in informed at all times. She could not have offered a better service from start to finish. We would definitely recommend Garden Stirling and Burnett to anybody buying or selling a property.

GooglePlease think twice when thinking about using this company as now that they have been taken over they do not get back to you despite emailing them and calling there office only to be told they will call you back and when complaining about the lack of interest and service even the managing director doesn't phone back . I have used them as our company solicitors for eight years but we will not be using them in the future neither will the companies we recommend them to

GoogleYou pay for a premium you will not get.
We were selling and buying a property and here are some issues we had with GSB:
They had the wrong contact information and after attempting and failing to change this over the phone multiple times I went into the branch to be met with a really standoffish person who refused to help me. When initially complaining about this they responded really defensively and did not take any accountability for how they handled the situation.
They have a significant lack of communication internally (e.g. the different solicitors dealing with the purchase and sale of our case did not know we were existing clients with the other half) and with clients (we were not kept in the loop with anything, we were often told "oh, someone should have told you this already", and there was often something to sort out last minute in a short time window). If you submit an enquiry from their site you likely will not get a response.
The lack of information at every stage caused insane stress which was completely avoidable.
It never once felt like we were taken car of and supported so honestly save the stress, save your money, and go with a different solicitor.

GoogleHaving viewed a property for sale I received an email asking for feedback. I emailed back saying we liked the property but felt it was too much money as we would need to do some work on it. Charlotte from GSB emailed back saying the owners may consider a lower offer and what might we offer. So I emailed back with a sum we were prepared to go for. Four days later I have heard nothing. So I phone up to be told she is at lunch and they would get her to call me back. Three hours later I still hear nothing so I call back and speak to Charlotte who says she has been busy studying and had not looked at her messages. She then goes on to say that the owners of the house were not willing to go as low as our offer. So I said that it would have been good for her to have let us know this. Her reply was that she would have done eventually, we were on her list. I had to say goodbye quickly before I lost my rag. Very unimpressed with the service!
I have now upped my rating because having let me down badly they have made a good effort at redeeming the situation. Thank you Charlotte keep going like this.

GoogleI applied for a property and received no response. I 3 weeks later received an invitation via text to view. 3 weeks later I then received a text asking if I wished to apply. No return calls and no responses to emails. O own a number of properties that I rent out with a trusted letting agent and I cant believe GSB would treat potential tenants this was. I would avoid GSB whether your a tenant of a landlord.

GoogleThe worst customer service I have ever experienced. They told me they had contacted my references and were just waiting to hear back from the landlord - every time I called I was informed I would be 'called back in 5 minutes' and then never called back. After ONE MONTH they sent a text to say the land lord had chosen another tenant. I am not surprised as they never even contacted my work reference. As a single, self employed working mother of two, they didn't even give me a chance and tested me as though I was a cold caller. Fortunately I have found another estate agents who supported and helped me.
They don't even care about their bad reviews. Unless you are a prime tenant then don't bother.
