TrustpilotPLEASE do not rent with Stirling…
PLEASE do not rent with Stirling Ackroyd (formerly Red Bear). AWFUL agents - so rude and unhelpful. We lived in one of their properties in 2021 and are still getting contacted by billing agents for overdue payments for AFTER we lived at the property - we've repeatedly told people that we no longer live there / haven't for the billing period, and we've just found out today that we're getting these bills still as Stirling Ackroyd told them we still live there! Ridiculous! Save yourselves the headache and rent elsewhere. Utter waste of time.

Clive Martin has been very helpful during the more than 3 years of tenancy. He has been brilliant to support the end of tenancy process and ensure that accurate information was delivered to the landlord on the property status, which allowed the refund of the deposit in full.

Highly recommend! Transacting property in the UK is sometimes an arduous process. My transaction was made even more difficult because i live on the other side of the world. However, when the solicitors threw up hurdles, Nick was always there with a solution. Super helpful, and very professional. Thanks Nick!

I found the staff to be friendly, and attentive. Elli, Aimee and Vicky were particularly helpful in getting matters progressed and/or resolved. Townends has the spread of offices across the region, and once you get to know who does what, it becomes that much easier to get things done.

Her unwavering support and timely response to any concerns we had, has been exceptional. She has always made herself available to us and has always been prompt in resolving any issues.During our latest contract renewal - our first one since Letizia started looking after our property, she offer a remarkable level of support, supporting us in negotiating a mutually beneficial agreement for both us and the landlord. Recently I have had to find student accommodation last minute and what could have been a very stressful situation was made infinitely more pleasant and Smoot from our agent Darcy who was able to efficiently communicate with 6 nervous students and help us find a home for the year and demonstrated a remarkable level of compassion to our situation as first time renters and even went out of her way to give updates and reassurance on a bank holiday which was a great comfort to us. She was readily available for any questions we may have (and we had many) and overall was very pleasant to communicate with. As a first time renter I haven't a lot of experience with estate agents but I doubt in the future I will be fortunate enough to experience the same level of service and compassion again.
