Initially presented by real estate agency Savills with a beautiful 1 bed and promised luxurious amnesties/services when I moved at Lillie Square at the end of 2017, however sadly the reality proved to be quite the opposite and my experience at the property has been disappointing to say the least. I ended up paying thousands of pounds in bills received retrospectively due to negligence and false advertising on behalf of agency Savills. The building had not been registered with the council and the property hadn’t even been allocated a tax band (although had been advertised as such) causing major delays with council tax bills, internet and electricity supply etc. I had no heating last winter due to an error with the comfort cooling system both estate ADMIN nor SAVILLS were unable to solve for MONTHS. I have interestingly been issued bills worth £600 for this period I have had no heating in from Switch2, the dubious heat network provider the building uses.I was told my Fiona Head of Complaints that these issues were to be expected to come with a new built. When asking them for compensation for the issues I was refused it and given notice to vacate the property. The only soothing thought is that I am due to leave the property soon, leaving all these problems and nightmare behind.

GoogleOur agents at Savills, namely Nicole, Gavin, Elliot, Tristan, Natalia, Rebecca (x 2) and Shuhana, were instrumental in finding a buyer as well as tenant for our properties in Shoreditch. Despite the difficult market, they were very professional in their role between the tenants/new buyers and ourselves, the owners. Furthermore, Savills has a nice system in place with check-lists and all needed documents that make life easy for any property owner. Thank you to all of you and for the whole Savills team.

GoogleI recently purchased a property with the assistance of Gavin Kennedy at Savills Shoreditch. Gavin took time to understand my needs, and found a property for me which met all my needs and was significantly less than I wanted to spend. Gavin also remained fully engaged with my lawyer and the sellers lawyer to ensure exchange and completion occurred in a timely fashion. Without him chasing up all the necessary information the process could have taken twice as long. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended.

The support from Savills during our rent period was ok. However we have just been withheld 10% of our rent deposit return because of two small issues. No understanding or flexibility for moving out during a lockdown period. Shame on you Savills!
