just particular agent

just particular agent, so they book a viewing to my place and I was concentrating on other stuff during the whole visit, and would expect the agent to answer the questions from the visitor. Yet, the visitor kept trying to ask me things e.g. the epc, tax band and whether the heater is electric while I believe the agent should know the answers (these are basic stuff), yet he just folded his arms and allowed the visitor to bother me. At the end, I just said 'you should ask the agent, he might know more.' Then the agent put a long face to me. The whole thing is unprofessional and ridiculous.

I was a tenant at a property managed by Dexter's with Petros Giorganios as the property manager. My end of tenancy process was very smooth and my deposit was returned with very minimal and justifiable deductions. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. All of my queries were promptly resolved and communication channels (email and phone) were always open.

Unprofessional behaviour

Unprofessional behaviour and no comminication. In May 2023, my roommate and I were locked in our apartment due to a broken lock that was never repaired despite reporting the problem in October when we first moved in. Dexters management did not respond to us and for personal and health and safety reasons we had to leave the apartment, so we contacted an outside emergency agency and Dexters would not refund our money!!!!

It's time we talk about these 'agents'. In over a week I received 4 calls a day from 3 different phone numbers, all during peek business hours (I'm fully employed with an actual job to do) and literally refused to reply to emails. For them it's all a game of chase where you are the idiot who's supposed to bend backwards and chase them hoping they grant you a place to sleep. And when you reply, all you hear is people partying, music, and very poor connection. Get a grip, you guys are literally disgusting. They also have the smallest selection of houses and keep on sending me the lower end of the barrel even tho I'm looking at quite high rents in 1 beds. JOKE OF A BUSINESSJOKE OF A COMPANYJOKE OF AN AGENCY

I have had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Alistair MacLean on a very complex sale transaction which has taken a number of months to complete. Throughout the transaction Alistair has remained patient, kind and pro-active depsite the hurdles which have appeared along the way. Alistair has fantastic communication skills and managed to keep the tranaction together despite the numerous difficulities. I am certain that the transaction would not have successfully completed without Alistair's involvement. As Head of a Residential Property Department for a medium sized regional practice, I deal with many agents on a daily basis. Alistair has definitely stood out as one of the best agents I have ever known and I hope to work with him on many future matters. 10 Months and still no luck. We live in an apartment that sits below a property managed by Dexter's Shoreditch. Our flat it slowly getting destroyed due to a continuous unresolved issue. Hello Asma I have already formally made a complaint about this to Lesley Alford at customer relations and was told that this cannot be addressed until the problem is fully resolved. Would give ZERO starts if I could

Would give ZERO starts if I could. AVOID.Dexters requested that work be done on my front door - it was proactively brought about by Dexters - and I said sure. Dexters hired a contractor to come work on the door and that contractor left a hole in my wall. I was in touch with Dexters for ~6 months on and off about the hole as I was not willing to accept responsibility given that the damage was not caused by me. Dexters dragged their feet for months on the issue (essentially waiting until my lease was up) and ultimately ended up taking money out of my deposit for damage that I didn't do (and also damage that was caused by work THEY requested). They were also pretty laissez faire about the whole issue, which really frustrated me. Made it seem like it wasn't a big deal for me to pay for something I didn't do. (If it wasn't a big deal, then why couldn't THEY pay for it?)Overall, really REALLY terrible customer service. Very disappointed. Will not be working with Dexters again.

£4500 unnecessary fee - avoid at all costs.

Have rented for years with half a douzen rental companies and have never had an experience even 10% as bad as with Dexters. After my husband lost his job and I became pregnant we let dexters know we’d need to move out as we couldn’t afford the rent. We offered to pay any fees to find a new tenant and to cover rent until a new tenant moved in to ensure no rent loss. Long story short while a new tenant was found after just two hours of advertising and they were paying more rent, Dexters forced us to pay a £4500 fee so that they could receive double management fees, based on a clause in their contact with our landlord that we didn’t have visibility of. On top of that lots of examples of them going outside of contract / getting every possible £ from us. When consulting a lawyer on the issue he said he consistently sees Dexters behaving appallingly. I’d really recommend everyone avoids them at all costs.
