Due to the current local housing market it took a while to find a buyer but Mark contacted us regularly to let us know how things stood. Once an offer had been made Mark went above and beyond what you would expect an agent to do. We were kept fully informed of where the process had reached and he proved a perfect liaison between us and the buyers. Mark was most professional and personable at all times and was even available to us during his vacation. We can highly recommend Mark and Refined Properties.

Our experience from start to finish with Refined Properties Ltd was seamless. Mark Gilbertson is the most proffesional estate agent we have ever dealt with and we have used a few over the years in our property business, including in North Wales. Penny, Mark's wife is also fantastic supplying updates on a regular basis after liasing with solicitors etc. All in all they well deserve the 5 stars we have given. Mark worked incredibly hard to secure our sale. He found a buyer quickly. The sale took a long time to get to completion due to complicated first in chain issues beyond ours or Marks ability to influence those issues but it wasn’t for want of trying. We had used Mark for a previous sale and were impressed by his enthusiasm and positivity which is why we used him again. Although he doesn’t have huge resources like some of the bigger estate agents, because he’s a one man band he ensures a one to one personal service.

The man who runs this agency, Mark, cost us tens of thousands of pounds by lying directly to us for months, only to have the whole thing fall, inevitably, apart. If that's the sort of service you're after when you're selling your home - good for you. For those amongst us that might rather prefer some basic human decency avoid this company like the plague. A charlatan, a huckster and a spiv. UPDATE: There are various schemes that reputable agencies sign up to, allowing some right-to-remonstrate when one has received shoddy treatment. That this agency has registered with NONE of them should be all the proof you need. Avoid like the plague ALSO: The only two five star reviews of this guy are from the week he rebadged his crumby operation, and are BOTH from people who have never reviewed anything previously. Seems SUPER SNIDE if you ask me. More lies, by any chance?
