This is a note to all serious buyers out there: DO NOT GO WITH DEXTERS. Read below how we were lied to and gazumped.My partner and I placed an offer on a property we viewed twice with Dexters Westminster. After a some negotiation it was accepted by the vendor on 13.12.21. We asked what the next steps were: Dexters laid these out and did not inform us of other viewings or offers, even when explicitly asked. We also asked about placing the property 'under offer'.On 20.12.21 we were informed there was another offer, similar to ours, and the vendor had to decide between the two. Dexters thereby lied to us directly about there not being another offer on the table when we placed ours, which was accepted. They then said the vendor required proof of funds to decide between both offers. We provided these within the hour. Our position is 70% cash, 30% mortgage. As such, the proof of funds was a significant portion. Sharing this information arguably places us in a vulnerable position regarding identity fraud. On 21.12.21 we received the update that the other offer had been accepted. Over the phone there was no real apology, acceptance of foul play and one of the agents had the audacity to refer to our apparently lower offer, indirectly, as 'cheeky'.The whole experience, days before Christmas, has been frustrating and infuriating. Not to mention laced with disrespect. For reference, the people dealt with have been: Noah Shledrick, Harry Laflin and Hannah Le Sueur.

One of the worst agents I came across. deceiving contracts and wrong information were provided , the price of which the tenant pays. Made me think a million times before using them again or even to consider renting another property.The property has severe damp, mould and no maintenance

Disgraceful way treating potential customers! Avoid! Am surprised higher management employ these bunch of immature muppets! Try to intimidate you and think they can speak to you however they like. You seriously need to get some training in customer service. Stay well clear of Dexters Twick!
