The worst estate agents I have ever come across. Be VERY careful if you intend to use a member of their solicitors panel they will charge you £150 to simply instruct a solicitor of their choice, the solicitors' charges will in no way be competitive and they will charge you and additional £60 to complete a money laundering ID check which will then not be recognised by their solicitors and therefore will be required to be carried out a second time...... BEWARE!!

GoogleWow!! What an organisation Miles and Barr, Birchington are. They sold our house in a week!! We had our house on the market with another well known Real Estate Agency for over 6 months. They sent us the occasional viewer to just ensure we thought they were doing something. When in fact we knew they were rubbish. The most communication we got from them was to reduce the price of our house. If had allowed them to reduce it every time they contacted us, we would have ended up giving it away. The only interest they had was to sell and get their payment. We stuck to our guns and flatly refused to reduce it. Eventually the sole contract ran out and we were able to move to Miles and Barr, Birchington. They sold it in a week. We had more viewings in that week then in the whole period we had with the other organisation. Well done Miles and Barr, Birchington. Great work.

We met with Jake |Chamberlain of Miles & Barr at a property to let. He was professional with a good degree of amiability throughout our meeting. In addition he appeared at all times to give a believable air of honesty which was refreshing in the present situation. We took up an inordinate amount of his time with questions and hypothetical scenarios and at no time did we feel that he had anything else to do except concentrate on us, the customer. Our appointment with Jake was very good as we had an unusual situation which he assured us would not be a problem an he gave us advice which we valued. It is a shame that we did not apply for the rental as Jake was such a likeable face to Miles & Barr. Due to our experience with Jake we would readily recommend the company

GoogleAbsolutely amazing experience with the Miles and Barr guys! Birchington office were great to deal with, always kept me updated where necessary and gave great advice. We had an offer on the table within about 4 weeks from listing the property online. After receiving the offer it has been a smooth experience with the assistance of Debbie Mead my sales progressor and have just exchanged today after 6 weeks, with completion being next week. 5/5 service!

Me and my expecting partner were look to move back to the Thanet area, and I can’t be more pleased with the service, work rate and general help that I have received for Miles and Barr. We was in a time limit situation which added pressure to the whole ordeal but all the staff were so great in assisting with bookings, viewings and communication. Anna who handled our application once we had found a suitable place went above and beyond with her personal service and work rate and without her hard work we would still be looking. Miles and Barr are very proactive and honest. They are confident with their selling strategies and know how to implement them for eveyone's benefit. The staff in the Cliftonville Office are exceptionally helpful and are happy to talk anything through with you at any point. I have been through a house selling and buying process with them recently, and in particular the progression officer Louise Daly was a great support and extremely professional. I would recommend you use this estate agency.
