We love our new home! Fantastic experience from the moment I sent an enquiry. Tiana has been extremely professional and responsive at all times. We had 2 homes to sell to purchase our new home at Mapperley Meadows, which was a bumpier experience than we ever expected. Tiana was on hand with advice and knowledge throughout, ensuring what was a stressful time for us, a little easier. Aways happy to see us, always happy to support. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We also used Cameron Homes recommended solicitors, who were also brilliant.

From the start we have had a positive experience starting with Hannah who supported us to choose our home and options in such a short space of time and help the purchase run smoothly. To the Cameron team ensuring all the snags and any issues were rectified in a timely manner and ensuring we were happy once we moved in. Overall, communication and customer service has been great, there are still a few things to sort, but I have confidence the team will ensure they are completed before they go offsite in a few weeks. A premium home and a fantastic experience with Cameron Homes

Having now had the opportunity to properly settle into our new home at Lawnswood, we can genuinely say how pleased we are that we chose Cameron Homes. Our experience started with Hannah, the Sales Executive at Lawnswood, and from the outset we built a great rapport with her. She was knowledgeable, approachable and, importantly, took the time to understand what we were looking for rather than simply trying to sell us a house. She worked with us throughout and genuinely wanted to help us find the right home. We ultimately purchased the showhome, and we absolutely love it. The specification is excellent, but what has impressed us most is the overall quality and attention to detail throughout the house. This is our second new-build home, so we had a good benchmark against which to compare the experience. Our first home, purchased around 13 years ago from Barratt, was a positive experience, but there is a noticeable difference with Cameron Homes. This feels like a **premium home rather than a standard new build**. The quality, specification and smaller details really do set it apart. The same can be said for the Lawnswood development itself. It feels spacious, considered and thoughtfully designed, rather than trying to fit as many houses as possible into the available space. That was one of the things that initially attracted us to Cameron Homes. There is a sense that consideration has been given not just to the individual houses, but to creating a genuinely nice place to live. In terms of snagging, ours has been minimal overall, particularly considering the complexity of building a new home. Where things have needed attention, the aftercare has been very good. Being on the development while Lawnswood is being completed has certainly been an advantage, with great access to the site and aftercare teams, but we've also been impressed by the attitude and workmanship of the people coming back to complete those final items. There has been a genuine desire to make sure things are **right**, rather than simply ticking something off a list. No new-build experience will ever be completely without the occasional snag, but for us the measure of a great housebuilder is the quality of the home in the first place and how they respond when something does need attention. On both counts, Cameron Homes have delivered. We absolutely love our home and the Lawnswood development. Having now experienced two different new-build housebuilders, Cameron Homes really does feel a cut above and deserving of its position as a premium housebuilder. A huge thank you to Hannah and everyone at Cameron Homes who has been part of our journey. We would happily recommend Cameron Homes to anyone looking for a beautifully designed, thoughtfully considered and high-quality new home.

Great service whilst buying our home

After living in our current home for 31 years, it was a major decision for us to move down and we were only prepared to do this for the right property. When we spotted our Cameron home, it was already completed. Our first contact during a show home visit was Tracy and ever since then she has been exceptional. She understood our situation and how important it was for us to find the right home. She was never pushy, gave us so much time and guidance without ever putting pressure on us. Since making our reservation we have had a long 7 month journey due to our chain breaking down twice and us having to re-sell. Cameron Homes have been super patient, allowing us time to re-sell and sticking with us to ensure we secured our home. Both Holly at Head Office and Tracy have always communicated brilliantly and answered all our many requests and questions. Nothing has been too much trouble. We have felt understood & listened to throughout. We finally move into our new home next week and are confident that we will be looked after. Fantastic team at Mapperley Meadows - amazing service

We moved into our new home a week ago in Mapperley Meadows and honestly the whole experience has been fantastic so far. We are really impressed with the quality of the home and how smooth the entire process has been. A huge thank you to Tiana, who has been absolutely amazing throughout. She has genuinely gone above and beyond for us from start to finish and has made what could have been a stressful process feel exciting and enjoyable. Buying your first home can feel overwhelming, especially with all the choices and decisions, but Tiana was always there to help and guide us through everything. She honestly felt like a best friend throughout the entire process and nothing was ever too much trouble and she always made us feel comfortable asking absolutely anything. We also want to thank Rob and the site team, who have all been incredibly helpful. Rob gave a really thorough induction when we moved in and explained everything we needed to know clearly, and has been around to help us settle in. So far we couldn’t be happier with our experience and are really enjoying our new home!

I've got no idea where to start, but our experience with Cameron Homes has been beyond fantastic. I've got to say a huge, huge thank you to Tiana at the Mapperley Meadows site, who has gone above and beyond since our very first visit to ensure our experience has been top tier. As we were buying our first house, I had a billion and one questions (yep - I'm that person!) and Tiana has been amazing - professional, unbelievably helpful, very quick to reply to all emails/texts with anything I've requested (and if she didn't have the answer, she spoke to the relevant person within the technical team or commercial team to get the answer for me straight away). She's a joy to work with and speak to, and through some of the stresses of moving into our first home and navigating a couple of challenges on our end, Tiana was there to support every step of the way. Been in the property just over a year, and would say initially, we loved it, but with the new builds next to us being built its been very testing. (Noise has been relentless) Front drive dug up, rear garden a mess, not bothering to rectify the work sufficiently and the damage they made that has been left is unacceptable. After repeated requests, they just forget the snags, and concentrate on their new projects, they just cant be bothered. Be warned people if you're buying from these.

I recently completed on my home bought through the first homes scheme, and it really has been so straightforward and I’ve felt so cared for by Tiana at Mapperley meadows! She’s helped with any little worry the whole way up to completion and chased things since getting the keys! Made the whole process enjoyable and easy!🫶🏼 All the workmen are lovely and genuinely want to help! Things that weren’t right and needed quicker fix’s have been done within a couple of days, if any delay they come round and let me know! We moved into our Cameron homes house in June 2025. We can’t thank the team enough for all their hard work and dedication to helping us create our forever home. A special thanks to Hannah, Mac, John and Izzy for all their guidance. The house has been done at an outstanding level and the quality is spot on. We asked for some changes like wardrobe being moved into another bedroom, plug sockets being moved, bathroom tiles contrast Literally everything we wanted was put on the drawing and was done to a high standard. They catered to all our needs. The buying and part exchange of our old home ran so smoothly. Hannah was always at the end of the phone if I needed her for anything. Her communication was impeccable. Really dissapointed in Cameron after…

Really dissapointed in Cameron after rating them as really good. We have had an o going problem with our ceiling which started flaking within months of moving in,they sent someone to fix it but within months was worse eith what looked like a water mark around it,when someone came again to look at it they said it had been painted before plaster was dry so second repair.Its now worse than ever but because we were a month out of warrany period they are now saying its a general maintinence problem despite it being ongoing for 18 months and never resolved.

Please be mindful when purchasing your dream home in a dream location …

Please be careful with Cameron Homes selling you the dream of living in a semi-rural development that will also contain residents from a housing association. I bought from Cameron nearly 2 years ago and for 2 years it has been horrible to live here, and my mental health has really deteriorated. Just be mindful when purchasing about the position of your homes and what you think the "dream" will actually be like. I am fully aware Cameron have no choice but to also build affordable housing but it seems they have no liability to check the housing associations vetting processes will be suitable for the development.

My wife and I had been looking at new build homes in surrounding area for some time.We passed Cameron Homes Wood Heath by chance in the early stages of the build and decided the Willow was the house for us. From our initial meeting with Jesse (the Sales Adviser who guided us through our experience) we found him to be Warm, welcoming, efficient and professional right the way through to when he handed us the keys to our new home and beyond. These have cost us 1000s and we cannot sell

We brought a house in Staffordshire it was built by Cameron homes they also own the land and use a management company to run it. Unfortunately the estate has not been upkept and in fact the contracts are not legal. This means Centric the management company so not keep with the upkeep of the estate and also the fees have more than doubled in 4 years. Best thing is because of the contract mess no one owners actually have to pay either. So the estates a mess and we can't actually pay a maintenance fee as there is no contract. People's house were wired up to the street lighting. We have a brooke that was blocked one end by Chasetown which is owned by Cameron and houses flooded. We are all stuck in limbo as we can sell either as.no DOV. I would run a mile if you want to buy from these. This is going to cost the residents 10s of thousands to sort just in legal fees. That's before we even get the estate back to a good standard. Do your homework people

Our Dream Home

Moving into our new Cameron Homes house has been a great experience from start to finish. The whole journey has been seamless, from our first meeting Izzy who was incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, to our regular catch ups with Chloe who was always there to answer questions and give updates. We must also thank Helen who made sure everything ran smoothly on the legal side of things. A final huge shout out must go to Ade, our Site Manager, his assistant Rob and the whole build team. They worked tirelessly to get us in on our desired date and made sure all our (demanding) needs were met. Their professionalism, pride and dedication to their work gave us complete confidence every step of the way and the final product has more than met our expectations. The house is stunning - well-designed and beautifully finished and we look forward to raising our family in our forever home.
