GoogleOutstanding service from Pigott & Hall! Helen was absolutely fantastic, professional, knowledgeable, and always ready to go the extra mile. Her expertise made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend her and the team for anyone looking for a reliable estate agent in Grantham!"
Best team and good experiences while my family stayed in a 2 bedroom flat for almost 3 years at Grantham.

GoogleHave been a customer of Pigott and Hall for well over 15yrs, both as landlord and with property transactions. They have always been professional and helpful to ourselves and our tenants. Following experiences with a variety of agents they have been a breath of fresh air.

GoogleThey are pretty good, have a professional and simple way of dealing with property letting. We had a good experience with them arranging a rental property for us in Grantham - all the way from arranging viewing, move-in process, attending repairs at the property whenever needed and staying in contact till the end of our contract when we moved out. Personally, found it much easier dealing with them than the bigger names.

GoogleI agree with Jo catchpoles review now after my treatment this morning.
Having read your response you are categorically lying saying you could not get through. I have no missed calls from you, no emails until this morning when WHICH YOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED I had bought my train tickets for grantham. If you would like me to send copies of my zero missed calls from you or voicemail, I am willing to do so.
I don't care that the property has gone it's the fact that you DID NOT INFORM ME UNTIL AN EMAIL AT 10AM THIS MORNING THAT THE PROPERTY WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
I HAD A LONG WAY TO COME AND HAD GOT ADVANCED TICKETS AT 8AM THIS MORNING THAT I COULD NOT GET A REFUND FOR.
You should have told me yesterday and as Helen said my phone had rung ten times yet no MISSED CALLS ON MY CALL LIST.

In response to your response, I did not mention the train ticket because I felt it reflected more poorly on you than us. Clearly, it was totally beyond our control that you decided to buy your ticket over 24 hours in advance of the viewing - you must have known the risk that the property could become unavailable in the meantime.
I would note however that at no stage did you mention to us that you had purchased your ticket at 8 am this morning.
You are entirely wrong - we most definitely did try and call you and I take offence at you calling me and my staff liars - I can indeed show you the record of the call that we made. Furthermore, to correct your statement, Helen rang your phone once - it rang ten times then said the number was unobtainable and it was not possible to leave a message, and she then immediately e-mailed you. This was at 9.38 am.
We also did try calling yesterday to advise what interest there had been on the property and to check that you were still coming on Thursday. We did not email then as, at the time, the property was still available.
Furthermore, we still advised you as soon as possible and over 24 hours before the viewing was due to take place - you can't reasonably have expected us to contact you at 8 am when you purchased the ticket!
It is rather a moot point however. Even had we managed to get through on the phone, you would still have already purchased your train ticket and we still would not have been able to show you around the property - the fact remains we contacted you as soon as we could and made sure you were aware that the viewing had to be cancelled.
I would welcome your advice on why you think we should have contacted you yesterday to cancel, when the property was still available, how our contacting you when the property did come unavailable today would have made any difference to you purchasing the ticket at 8 am this morning, what difference it would have made had we managed to get hold of you on your phone at 9.30 this morning, and finally why you didn't wait until we were open and speak to us before purchasing your train ticket today?
Dear Mrs Marsden, your review is unfair on many grounds, not least that we have not treated you at all badly, even though we are sorry that you believe we have.
I would note firstly that every time you have called, we have been most courteous. The first time you contacted us, over two weeks ago, you explained you were coming in by train and I offered to give you a lift to the property you wished to view. We had no issue at all that you had to cancel the viewing on two occasions and we were very happy to re-arrange, again with me offering to give you a lift from my offices.
We are sorry that you cannot now view the property, but, as we have explained, it is no longer available. Contrary to your comments on the phone to my staff however, we most certainly did try to contact you on your mobile telephone but were unable to get through and so emailed you to advise that the property was now under application and to cancel the viewing you had re-arranged for tomorrow.
We are required by law to stop all viewing once a holding deposit has been taken.
Much the same as with Jo catchpole's unwarranted, negative review, I fail to see how we could have acted any differently.

GoogleI found Tim Hall most helpful and managed to let my properties super fast. Helen too is very efficient. They answered emails the same day always returned calls and were never anything but polite.

3 one-star reviews, with no comment whatsoever, left by the same 3 people on both mine, and my son's music shop website, at the same time on the same day and when we have never met and have never had any business dealings with any of them.
Of course, the Fair was in town recently, and people had been parking behind our office in privately paid for spaces that we manage, which is quite some coincidence, especially with the photo on one of their Facebook pages of the very same carpark, and numerous links between both family names.
The area is clearly marked and signposted as private, and we have a duty to report anyone parking in spaces that are paid for by people who expect to be able to park in their spaces whenever they want to.
There is a process to appeal any parking tickets issued, which are issued by a private company, and if you believe it was incorrectly issued, you are more than welcome to take it up with them.
Why you think it is then reasonable to leave a one-star review, when you are in the wrong, pretty much sums up the attitude people have nowadays. This has nothing to do with how my son or I run our respective businesses, or deal with our clients and customers, except of course to demonstrate that we take our obligation to our paying customers seriously, and if the result of having a parking ticket quite legitimately issued, for parking in a space that you know you shouldn't be parked in, is a one star review, so be it. My Clients are far more important to me!
