GoogleHad the branch manager out to do a valuation. I am not impressed. Whilst he clearly knows lots about selling and estate agency he also seems to be a bit of a gossip. I certainly didn't expect to hear the names of my opposite neighbours or the previous owners given to me nor did I expect my specific move details to be passed on to all the office staff.
No doubt there is an appointment book but surely estate agents have some sort of confidentiality policy- not this one it seems.
Valuation letter never arrived until I complained as they had put an actual space in the email rather than the word.
Thought even 5 year olds know that you can't have a physical space in an email address!
I certainly won't ever sell or buy with this agent. No idea how they justify their substantial fees either. The service was never mentioned so guess they either think its brilliant or just don't care.

We have written to you previously to this post, so I am disappointed and surprised that you still feel unhappy.
As you are aware, your neighbour works with us, so that is why she was aware of your appointment. We obviously assumed that you would know the name of the person who sold the house to you, so we did not feel that this was sensitive information.
We have always paid particular attention to data protection issues - we can see absolutely no risk that your data has been used incorrectly. You have put your name on Google so I feel comfortable responding to your open post.
It is rare for my staff to make 'human errors', but I apologise again for the mistake in your email address. As we provided you with a free valuation and follow up letter, I can't make a refund as a gesture of goodwill, but I do know that you now have the letter and benefit of our experience to be used freely as you wish.
Our fees are extremely competitive, so if you do change your mind about using us I will gladly explain our service to you.

Dibbens set up more viewings immediately and within a week I had another offer. This coincided with Covid and all that entails. GoogleI booked a viewing with this agency who decided to cancel it via email while I was driving from London to Gosport.
I called them when I got there to have someone say it was cancelled. They rescheduled for the weekend and around 5:30pm on the day before the second viewing I received a call saying that it was already rented.
