Truly terrible estate agents.

Truly terrible estate agents. For the past five days both my husband and I have contacted them repeatedly to ask for a home report for a property they're advertising for sale with no response. Recorded voicemail when you call does not return the messages left, and gives an office number to call if "urgent" but that number loops you back to the same voicemail. Nick, you suck at your job. The chat bot they have takes your request and doesn't get back to you. The number to dial via Rightmove gets you nowhere either. Honestly, if I was selling through them I'd be incredibly unhappy. Truly awful company offering no service to buyers.

We bought a probate property from the executors via S&P. At times the deal looked vulnerable because of delays created by the executors’ intransigence and lack of preparation. Ben managed their behaviour as well as one could I think. The property has an overage clause which took some discussion to negotiate from an unreasonable 50 years to a tolerable but greedy 20 years. It became clear that a neighbour has access to our property via a gate. S&P, in Ben’s absence, were not helpful in explaining this. But those irritations fade and we now live in the Cotswolds. Update - I was finally contacted by AndrewHarwood on Tuesday 12th. He was suitably apologetic and arranged to come to appraise our home personally on the 13th which he did in a very professional manner. On this basis, I have upgraded my review from 1 star to 4. Contacted Nicholas on chat service twice, 02nd and 05th Mar to arrange a visit by one of their valuers. No one called back in response to either contact. I was surprised and disappointed and so sent an e-mail to Andrew Harwood on 06th Mar, their Residential Director in Sevenoaks to make him aware and ask someone to call me as matter or urgency. No call back as of 09th Mar. Shocking. If that's how they deal with Sellers, what opportunities being missed with potential buyers??
