I would 100% recommend purchasing through Blundells at White Lane Gleadless. Despite not being their client for selling our own property, Lisa went above and beyond to support my family during an exceptionally difficult conveyancing process in order to help not just me but her own vendors complete the chain. Incredibly efficient and clear communication, problem solving and honesty - which is all you can ask for. I would also like to thank her lovely colleagues for their roles in the process too, Emily & Will. An incredibly warm and welcoming team and it was great to meet them when picking up our keys yesterday. I don't know how I would've been able to buy my first house without the support of Ivan Fewtrell from Countrywide Mortgage Services and the team at Blundells at Gleadless. Ivan was my best friend during this whole process, and he made time for me in a way that he didn't have to, whether it be by email, text or phone. If there was ever an example of customer care, it'd be Ivan Fewtrell. There was nothing he couldn't explain, and he had my corner whenever necessary. Thank you Blundells and Ivan.

I’ve requested to view 4 properties now in the S13 S12 and S20 areas and I hear nothing back. I complete next week so I’m in a good position. I’ve moving into rented until I find somewhere. I even emailed to ask if I can be put on their mailing list. Homes in my desired area and price are constantly coming on the market but they do not contact me. You would think they would phone people like me immediately for a quick sale.

IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS I WOULD! I’ve just today got the keys to my forever home! :D Lisa who was helping me through every stage of the buying process was soo helpful and lovely I feel like she’s family the way she took the time and talked me through every step and what’s the next step forward and what I need to do to get there and was genuinely happy to help me through it like I was her own family she was helping. This being my first time buying (hopefully the last!) I had absolutely no clue how it works buying a house, what I’d need, what shoes to wear (lol) I was so worried but she has an unbelievable amount of knowledge, experience and wisdom which made it feel a walk in the park! When I walked in for the keys she gave me a big hug and was genuinely really happy for me that I have my forever home which made my experience all the more special. I recently sold my home through the method of modern auction with Blundells. I was extremely nervous at first having never heard of the process before. Dan and the team at the Gleadless branch were so helpful and knowledgeable, they never made me feel awkward about asking so many questions, and explained everything in depth, so that I felt confident to proceed. My home was listed on the 9th September and the completion day was today, 25th November - 11 weeks from start to finish!! I am over the moon and know that this was the best decision I could have made. I’m so glad I listened to Dan and trusted his knowledge and insight; my house is sold, the money is in the bank, and I could not be happier….thank you to the whole team at Blundells Gleadless 😊

We are not local to the area and went to all three estate agents in Gleedless before chosing Blundells. Daniel was our first point of contact who was friendly, energised and certain Blundells could sell our house. We were very pleased with the photos and online write up and the house was live the following week. Lisa has made such an impression with her kind and caring nature and her organised approach to our sale. Every member of the team (Katie and Dawn) have helped and supported us from sale to completion and we cannot fault them. We would highly recommend Blundells as they are brilliant. My only note is to use your own solicitors and not the one you can appoint from the estate agents as the lawyer company disappointed us.

Having never sold a property before, I was incredibly apprehensive about which estate agents to use as I was unsure regarding the charges and how everything worked. I contacted 3 estate agents and I liked the response from Blundles the best and it was a name I recognised. Daniel came out to see us. He explained the process and fees clearly and ensured that I understood. I immediately felt he was honest, trustworthy and straight talking. I was pleasantly surprised about how reasonable the costs were too. Daniel arranged everything for the epc and photos to take place within a time frame that met our timeline. The photographer they arranged was incredible and the photos were amazing I didn't recognise my house. They were put online the same day and the next morning we had 3 viewings booked. 1 day later, we had 2 offers over list and accepted one. I spoke with Lisa at the Gleadless office and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. They kept in contact every step of the way and helped with any questions I had. I fully recommend the team at Gleadless everyone we dealt with was friendly, polite, understanding and professional. It's been such a straightforward process and they made it a less stressful process than expected. Thank you so much. Honestly couldn't recommend them more.

I have recently completed on a house purchase and really wanted to write a shining recommendation for the mortgage broker Tim Sleight. From the onset he has been absolutely amazing. Informative, considerate, extremely competent and knowledgeable. At all times I felt as though he gave me options without showing bias or being judgemental and not once did I feel as though he pushed me into one choice or another. He was nothing but professional and respectful throughout which has not always been my experience in other areas of this house buying process. He was also very responsive in replying and taking calls and there was nothing he wasn't happy to explain in depth when I needed him to which was incredibly reassuring. At every step of the way he made sure I had full understanding of the process without ever making me feel daft for asking all the questions I asked! I am not a first time buyer however regardless, the process can still be complicated and overwhelming so in this respect I would definitely say Tim would be an excellent choice for any first time buyers out there as being able to ask his advice about a number is issues (some of which I am not entirely sure came under his remit but he graciously answered anyway!) put my mind at ease about a lot of things as my buy/sell situation did end up a little complicated towards the end there! Overall, Tim really has been worth his weight in gold and I genuinely believe you would be hard pushed to find a better mortgage broker. Thank you Tim for everything! My mum’s flat has just sold, thanks to the tenacity and professionalism of Blundells Estate Agents, Gleadless, and particularly Dawn, who you want on your side when the road gets rocky. I have lived in Australia for many years and am unfamiliar with the process of selling a property in the UK. Covid lockdowns proved to be a further hinderance, coupled with an apparent lack of interest or ability on the part of my conveyancers. I would still be waiting to finalise were it not for Blundells pushing the process along with the perfect mix of diplomacy and prodding to get the sale through. Dawn put in the hard miles. She got the power reconnected despite the ineptitude of the supplier and maintained full communication with me throughout the process of the sale. There are too many points to single out how they went above and beyond what I would expect. I used Blundells because they have been in the business for a good many years and their reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Mine was not a straight-forward sale and I was looking for an agent with experience and knowledge. Dawn backed this up with a large amount of hard graft, which in the end made the difference.

I recently used blundells mortgage service for a property I was buying in Leeds. This was a particularly stressful time for me but Leanne was amazing. Professional, knowledgable and friendly. She took all my needs and requirements into consideration and found me a brilliant mortgage. She went above and beyond in helping me with my (sometimes silly) concerns always replying to emails promptly and reassuring me on a daily basis that everything would sort out. I honestly couldn't have made such a big move on my own without her help.
