GoogleThese guys! Honestly, I'm a tiny bit disappointed that we have now moved and so don't have a reason to hang out with the team. We have found them to be honest, sensible, realistic, sympathetic, patient, encouraging, hard working and kind. Even our kids love them! Ian, Tom, Wendy, Nikki, and Amy all made time for us, coached us through the tricky bits, gave sound advice, remained professional and non-partisan and yet we still felt they had our back. They have helped us move in the past too and we didn't even hesitate before turning to them again. They handled our sale and our purchase and it made the whole process smoother. My instinct was to go with H&O's pricing range from which to choose the price. During the selling process, I had to listen and take on board differing opinions within my family about what to do. I found the advice from H&O was constructive, accurate and based on years of experience selling. The description of the house and photographs were put together well (also online). The final stages went through smoothly. H&O found the right buyer. Thank you for your professionalism and for supporting us. I had to come to terms with my father's passing and selling his home, but was always treated compassionately by H&O, and this was important to me also.

GoogleI placed my bungalow up for sale with Holland and Odam Estate Agents in Street, Somerset just as the then Prime Minister and Chancellor gave the mini budget.... immediately the housing market went into the doldrums. My estate agents worked very hard to get regular viewings to my property, even though I thought that perhaps I should take it off the market. Mr Ian Odham suggested that I stay on the market, as there were very few bungalows up for sale. Lo and behold a cash buyer was shown round and decided to buy it. The move went ahead smoothly within 3 weeks of the viewing. I cannot rate Holland and Odam Estate Agents highly enough. All the staff were friendly and professional. My questions were answered quickly and fully and I thoroughly recommend them to any perspective seller.

GoogleMy partner and I tried to arrange a viewing for a house we liked the look of in Street. Contacted H&O twice by email but no response either time. A couple of weeks later noticed the house had been sold STC. Can only assume that they had someone internal who wanted to buy it, either or it's that it's just incompetence. Either way, I wouldn't advise selling through this estate agent as you won't get the best price. Not much point in trying to buy through them either as they don't get back to you.
