We had an outstanding experience with Savills Glasgow and can’t thank Iona and the entire team enough for their hard work and professionalism throughout the sale of our two very unique properties on the west coast of Scotland. Selling distinctive homes in a remote and special location is never straightforward, but Iona’s knowledge, dedication and calm guidance made the whole process feel seamless. From marketing through to completion, everything was handled with care, attention to detail and excellent communication. We always felt fully supported and confident that the team were going above and beyond to achieve the best possible outcome for us. Their commitment, persistence and positive attitude really made a difference. Firstly Peter is an ignorant argumentative rude offensive Agent 1•fails to show for an appointment to show us round 2• txt us to confirm attendance but failed to show himself “Im looking forward to seeing you at and on regards Peter” 3•the state of the property was deplorable compared to what was described in resume Holes in walls chunks out of doors wires hanging fromLight pendents Lighting had been removed Smoke alarms hanging loose Carpets torn up by cats and chewed doors This property was described as immaculate & of excellent standard. It was also damp no survey done on the basment. 4•no one checked in with us after viewing 5• the advert states the property we went to view had basement accommodation repairing this was misrepresented it was a laundry room with low ceiling damp and had a cupboard. 6• placed offer on house reflecting condition & home report missing tiles failed velux roof window The offer was not passed on. When queried Peter replied the owner said it’s a window blind and there is no broken tiles. Ok so the home report was a fabrication then. We requested images of the basement and none were provided After asking 3 times The house price was misrepresented in our opinion on the advert as it was a waste of our time & money however Peter didn’t like being told this and became rude & spoke to me in a disgusting manner he was condescending rude & down rite ignorant. He proceeded to tell us we did not understand how the market works. Given the fact that we have 5 sizeable commercial property’s and a residential let already we understand perfectly. I feel that He was only brave enough to do so behind a telephone & would not have dreamt of doing so in person. Personally this Agency is one to avoid not professional in the slightest. The staff are of poor mentality & the behaviours & lack of professionalism is as apparent as the lack of attendance at viewings. Anyone listing with this outfit think before giving them your money as you will not get the service.

I was introduced to Peter Walker from Savills by my solicitor. We were selling a niche holiday home in Argyll and Bute. Unfortunately we were very unlucky and had 3 people pull out of the sale close to missives, I stuck with Savills and they managed to sell the property for me over the home report value in the end. Peter was great throughout the full process. I would recommend working with Savills Glasgow if you are looking to sell in Glasgow or further a field (our property was 1.5 hours from Glashow)

Caroleanne first alerted us to our new home in Portincaple, just as it came on the market in August 2024. We were at the end of our annual holiday to the west coast, and spent almost two hours viewing the house, as we knew we may not have another chance to see it before offering. Since the viewing, Caroleanne proactively kept us up to date with the vendors' timing and progress on other interests in the property. Her communication with us was incredible; she was friendly, informative, helpful, and available to chat when we needed to, offering suggestions, helping us to understand the vendors' needs, and answering all our questions. When the sale went to a closing date, we put in an offer, and were delighted (and quite emotional) when Caroleanne called to say that we had won the bid! I selected Savills based on their reputation and was not disappointed. From my very first interaction with Iona and subsequent meeting with Peter Walker from the Glasgow office I felt they were the A team. Cameron and the team provided a great service for us throughout the process of the sale of our townhouse in the West End. Right from the start, there was a clear desire to want to get the sale with Cameron coming out at short notice on a weekend to make his pitch and demonstrate credibility in the local market. Throughout the sale process itself there was always clear communication and regular updates of what was going on, in conjunction with a willingness to show flexibility with regards to when viewings took place. Despite being part of a national agency and being involved with engagements outside of Glasgow as part of his role, Cameron was always transparent about this and when he was not in Glasgow yet was always available for us and kept in regular dialogue with the interested parties throughout. In addition to the sale process there was always a consideration of our onward purchase and coming forward with potential opportunities that fitted the bill we had set out on what we were looking for.
